Three days before going abroad.
Darrell and I quietly got engaged.
The day before going abroad, Alexzander suddenly called me.
“Sophia, tomorrow is my birthday.”
I was tidying up the boxes while casually responding, “Mm–hmm.”
You knew the place.”
Alexzander’s tone still carried a hint of weariness.
“The steps were given to you, it’s up to you whether to go down or not.”
I hadn’t even recovered my senses when the phone hung up.
Uncle came over and knocked on the door, “Sophia, Mr. Stuart came to pick you up for dinner.”

I had already forgotten the phone call from Alexzander just now.
