Because I
liked Alexzander, I had previously declined the arranged marriage set up by my elders.
Now that they have learned that I am going abroad, they are bringing up old matters again.
“Uncle, can I think about it again?”
“Okay, you still want to continue studying now, and there’s no rush for marriage.”
“Before going abroad, let’s meet first, and then we can discuss. It’s important that you like it.”
Okay,” I did not refuse their kindness anymore.
My two uncles loved me very much after my mother passed away and my father remarried.
They were the people who loved me the most in this world.
I made an appointment with my best friend to have dinner in the evening.

“Sophia, where were your things?”
“I returned to the dormitory.”
Alexzander’s voice showed no emotion, “Since we’re moving, let’s move everything.”
“My girlfriend came over tonight and she was very unhappy to see your things.”
Sorry, could you please throw it away?”
“Go ahead, let it go, don’t regret it.”
The phone hung up.
I looked at myself in the mirror, feeling a bit lost.
I couldn’t understand the meaning behind his words.
I don’t even want him anymore, so why would I care about the things he gave me?
