Chapter 4
I used to be in a relationship with Alexzander before.
I chose to stay at home and take the postgraduate entrance examination.
But now, it seems like studying abroad is also a good idea.
I took some time to clean up and bring back to the dormitory the things that were left at Alexzander’s apartment.
I haven’t told anyone about studying abroad yet.
Life started to get busy, and there were just too many things to prepare.
Gradually, I rarely thought about Alexzander anymore.
Until that day at the Second Cafeteria, I met him and a few friends after a long time.
There was still a young and beautiful girl following him.
But she was no longer the same girl as before.
“Sophia, long time no see. Let’s grab a meal together later.”
His friend greeted me with a smile.
I just politely smiled and said, “No, I’m with my roommate.”
“Hey, by the way, there’s a gathering at the usual place tonight. Would you like to come too?”
I instinctively glanced at Alexzander.
He had a stern look on his face, and no emotions could be seen in his eyes.
But he didn’t interrupt his friend’s words.
In my heart, there was a calmness without any ripples. I shook my head and said, “I won’t go, I have
other things to do tonight.”
“Why so much nonsense about having a meal?”
Alexzander suddenly gave a cold glance at a few people.
He simply walked away without any hesitation.
My friend apologized to me somewhat awkwardly.
I waved my hand and turned around, walking away.
When I returned to the dormitory building after finishing my meal.

But then he ran into Alexzander and his new girlfriend.
The girl hugged Alexzander’s neck and occasionally tiptoed to ask for kisses.
The expression on Alexzander’s face seemed somewhat impatient.
I walked straight ahead without looking away, about to enter the dormitory gate.
Alexzander suddenly called out to me, “Sophia.”
