It was the third day since Darrell returned to his home country.
I had just come out of the school library when I saw Alexzander.
The thin morning mist dissipated, and the sun hung in the sky, but it was still cold.

But Alexzander stood under the tree, wearing only a thin windbreaker.
He seemed to have lost some weight.

Alexzander furrowed his brows and asked, “Then why did you choose to study abroad?”
“This was my own choice.”
He looked at me, his brows furrowing even deeper, and said, “Alright, going abroad has become a
reality and cannot be changed.”
“I can always take more flights in the future.”
I was somewhat surprised, “Fly a few more times?”
“I am a man, of course, it was me who flew all the way to see you…
“Wait a minute.”
I interrupted him and said, “Alexzander, you didn’t have to fly here to see me.”
“I didn’t have this obligation, and I didn’t need it either.”
“Sophia, so, are you still angry?”
“Since you are still angry and care about me, why did you say let it go just now?”
I almost laughed out of anger.
“Alexzander, how much clearer do you want me to say it?”
“I said let it go because I don’t care about that matter anymore, and I don’t care about you either, understand?”

“We had broken up a long time ago.”
