“Looking for her? Just let her diet” Caleb abruptly hung up on Calin. The cigarette in his hand was more than half burnt, but he hadn’t taken a single puff. After a burst of anger, an endless emptiness engulfed him.
Caleb closed his eyes and leaned against the wall, his mind replaying a series of memories. The first time he met Evelyn, he was twenty-five, fresh into running the family business after his father, Arthur, had passed away.
