Halfway through Rhea’s words, the large screen in the banquet hall suddenly lit up, attracting everyone’s attention.
Rhea’s face appeared on the ultra–clear LED screen. She wore elaborate makeup and was dressed like a princess, and the background was clearly decorated.
Smiling, she said to the camera, “Mabel, it’s your 18th birthday today. I’ve thought about it, and I found that no gift could show how much you meant to me. So, I decided to record a special birthday wish video for you. I want to give you a dance to wish you a happy birthday in this special way.”
She used a beauty filter and turned it on full blast, making herself look so adorable that she didn’t even look like herself
anymore.
Beatrice gave her the idea. According to their plan, after the guests sang Happy Birthday to Mabel, the video was supposed to start playing on the large LED screen. In such a way, Rhea got to impress them and steal Mabel’s thunder, making herself the center of attention.
Yet because of the bracelet incident, the video was played a bit late.
Someone was intrigued. “Hey! I never knew Rhea could dance!”
In the video, Rhea took a few steps back after she gave Mabel her blessing, and then she began dancing, the beauty filter slimming down her face and stretching her legs.
Her dancing wasn’t elegant at all. In fact, it was kind of a thirst trap, as she constantly wiggled her hips and waist, putting on all sorts of seductive postures.
Awkward, the guests forced a smile, complimenting, “Not bad.”
Anyone who didn’t know better would think Rhea was an internet celebrity asking for tips.

A few seconds later, the scene in the video suddenly changed. In contrast to the bright style when Rhea was dancing, the current video was much darker. Judging from the angle, the video was shot from the top down.
The scene was utterly jaw–dropping. In the video, Rhea and Matthew were hugging in a storage room, both naked, doing all kinds of intimate stuff such as kissing and touching.
Groans echoed throughout the ballroom. Coupled with the steamy scenes, everyone looked away, feeling awkward.
Rhea was dumbfounded, thinking, ‘Is this really happening? How so? This is definitely not the video I recorded!”
Matthew was equally surprised, wondering how this ended up in Rhea’s video greeting Mabel’s birthday.
Panicked, he glanced at Mabel and then roared furiously, “Who put this video? Turn it off!”

Several guests who had brought their kids to the party covered their kids‘ eyes hurriedly while shouting angrily, “What is wrong with you, Mr. and Mrs. Harper? This is so inappropriate!”
The ballroom was abuzz with discussion when the scenes on the big screen kept changing. In the video, Rhea and Matthew constantly changed their postures as well as the places where they were doing it. They covered practically all the spots in the Harper family’s villa, including the sofa, the hallway, the bathroom, the storage room, and even Dale and Beatrice’s master bedroom.
It seemed the two sought strong sensations indeed.
Beatrice was left speechless, thinking, ‘It never occurred to me that they had already reached this stage. Gee! Rhea isn’t even an adult yet. From now on, everywhere she goes, people will point fingers at her.’
Standing next to her, Dale was raging, thinking, I’m so humiliated by Rhea. To think that she’s my daughter! She’s so promiscuous!”
Finally, Rhea’s face appeared on the screen again. She seemed to have been dancing for a long time, her face flushed with a thin layer of sweat, and she looked towards the camera adorably. “This is my birthday gift to you, Mabel. Do you like it?”
Then the video was over.
Rhea was on the verge of collapsing. Who edited the video?!
She didn’t need to ask out loud, for the half–smile on Mabel’s face was self–explanatory.
The whole ballroom fell into silence for quite a few seconds.
Every guest present was shocked by the video. Was it their illusion?

Yet before she could come near Mabel, someone behind her yanked her hair. Caught off guard, she stepped back a few times and, before she realized what had just happened, she was slapped hard and fell to the ground.
It was Aileen who slapped her.
