As Nolan’s words echoed through the hall, the crowd erupted, especially the business associates and shareholders.
“Well, that’s great! Umberdon Enterprises is a century–old giant. GlobalVision Group’s value is going to soar!”
“Mr. Graves must be connected to Ms. Leach. Why else would he be supporting Global Vision so strongly? While GlobalVision has potential, it still can’t compare to Umberdon Enterprises.”
Camellia’s frustration hit a boiling point. But her family had always taught her to keep her composure in public.
Meanwhile, Cherise simply nodded at Nolan, showing genuine pleasure in his support.
A moment later, a compelling voice came from the back. “Since Mr. Graves is offering such support, Chivers Group and Syphonea Group will do the same thing.”
Cherise’s expression softened with warmth at the sound of the voice.
It was Morris. The moment he stepped in, all eyes shifted to him.
“It’s Morris Chivers! I can’t believe he’s here to support GlobalVision Group!”
“Given Ms. Leach’s recent stock purchases, it’s clear GlobalVision Group has a bright future. Those who tried to short–sell must be regretting it now.”
“Oh my! With Mr. Chivers here, GlobalVision’s stock will surely skyrocket!”
Morris walked up to Nolan, nodded at him, and then turned to address the media. “Chivers Group and Syphonea Group pledge full cooperation with GlobalVision Group moving forward.”
His words sent shockwaves through the crowd.
A partnership with Morris was a huge win for GlobalVision. Those who had mocked the company were now silent, some regretting selling their shares too soon.
After speaking, Morris sat down next to Nolan. “Mr. Graves looks like you’ve got some free time today.”
Nolan smiled. “Seems like we both cleared our schedules for today, huh?”
“Of course, when it’s about my girlfriend, I always make time,” Morris said with a confident grin.
Nolan signed. “Don’t worry, I have no interest in competing for her. She’s way out of my league, and I don’t deserve her.”
Meanwhile, Camellia’s hands were clammy with rising tension.
She had no idea about the depth of Cherise and Morris’s relationship, but now it was clear: Cherise was becoming a serious problem for her.
On stage, Cherise smiled at Morris before addressing the crowd. “I trust everyone here and online has seen enough. Please have faith in the daily operations of GlobalVision Group. This press conference is now concluded. Thank you all for attending!”
With that, she nodded to the audience and stepped down from the stage.
As the attendees packed up, their confidence in GlobalVision was evident as they left.
Instead of going straight to Morris, Cherise walked over to Camellia.

When Camellia saw hercoming, Camellia stood to meet her.
“Ms. Hawkins, are you the President of Orlinth Innovations?” Chrise said, raising an eyebrow.

After composing herself, Camellia replied with a sly smile, “Ms. each. I must admit, I never expected you to be president of GlobalVision–quite the delightful surprise!”
Her tone carried a subtle challenge.
Cherise, still smiling warmly, asked, “Ms. Hawkins, don’t you have anything to say about your company’s attempts to undermine us?”
Camellia replied with an enticing smile. “Ms. Leach, we all understand survival of the fittest. It’s just business. We’re adults here we know how the game is played.”
She added, “But I must say, it’s impressive how you manage to capture the attention of so many powerful men. It’s honestly a bit enviable.”
Cherise chuckled softly. “Oh, Ms. Hawkins, is there no sense of ethics in your aristocratic world? Watch out. I’ll let you off easy today, but next time, we’ll settle this.”
She whispered, “This includes your recent attempts on my life.”
At that, Camellia narrowed her eyes, letting out a dismissive huff before walking away.
