With those words, Yulia stood, bowed politely to the judging panel, and walked towards the hospital bed.
As she got closer, she noticed a strange smell coming from the patient.

Yulia moved in closer again and put on a pair of disposable medical gloves that were prepared nearby.
She glanced at the patient, who seemed to be a man in his fifties. Possibly due to illness, his outline was extremely thin.

The patient nodded weakly.
With his permission, Yulia sat on the stool beside the bed and gently placed her fingers on his wrist.
