As Morris approached the office door, Steven entered and handed him a USB drive. “Mr. Chivers, the files are ready.” Morris nodded and said, “Good. Make multiple copies, encrypt them, and send one to Ms. Leach.
Then deliver the USB directly to the supervisory authority and inform Mr. Weaver that the Dark Web Division will be handling the pre–operation.
“And you’ll be presiding over the shareholders‘ meeting later. I’m going to Ebb & Flow”
With that, he headed straight for the elevator.

Truman wasn’t there today, but the Ebb & Flow staff all knew Cherise by now. They were aware that both their boss and Morris held her in high regard, so they eagerly came out to greet her.
They noticed Crow by her side and were confused but didn’t ask questions. Someone said, “Ms. Leach, welcome!”

“Of course. Right this way. The server led them to a VIP room on the second floor.
Once inside, Crow took out his phone and texted someone on King’s side: [VVIP room, second floor, Ebb & Flow ]

While stopped at a red light, Leo replied to the text and turned to Morris. “Mr. Chivers, they’ve arrived at Ebb & Flow and are in a VVIP room on the second floor.
Morris was resting with his eyes closed. He slowly opened them and simply said, “Alright.”
Leo hesitated. “Do you
want me to check who’s in the room first?”
“No need. Let’s just go in,” Morris replied coolly

Her expression was calm, though she occasionally frowned slightly.
The next moment, there was a knock on the door. Crow dashed to open it while Cherise kept her eyes on her phone.
As the door opened, Leo stood there and asked, “Why is it you?
Crow looked confused. “And you are…? You seem familiar?”
“It’s me, Leona, from Lewis Chemical Plant,” Leo said.
Hearing the name, Crow awkwardly scratched his head.
Cherise looked towards the door and was stunned to see Leo standing there.
After a brief pause, her eyes widened as she thought, ‘Could it be that Morris… is King?
Just then, Morris stepped into the room and looked directly at Cherise.
Cherise stared back, standing slowly. Their eyes met
“You’re King?” she asked.
Morris nodded. “And you’re Darknight?”
Cherise nodded as well, recalling her suspicion when she first saw his rapid typing at the Chivers residence.
In the next moment, she turned and glared at Crow
Crow felt a
chill under Cherise’s intense stare.
“Wh–what’s wrong, Boss?”
Cherise pointed to Morris. “So, this is the pot–bellied, bald, lecherous middle–aged creep you mentioned?” After she finished speaking, she stared at Morris and asked, “So, how many of my orders have you rejected?”
Morris’s heart sank. He realized he needed to find a way out of this.
With a serious expression, he replied, “Leo manages my account. I only found out about it later”
Leo’s eyes widened in shock as he thought, ‘What?! Why didn’t I know about this?”
But he didn’t deny it “Yes, Ms. Leach. Things have been hectic lately, and I forgot to inform Mr. Chivers. If I’d known it was you, I would’ve told him right away. No way would I have waited until now.”
Cherise didn’t respond, pursing her lips..
She thought to herself, Morris is the boss: his assistants would have certainly kept him updated on everything right away!
