Shirley started to feel a bit nervous. She hadn’t expected a non–professional from the Traditional Medicine Department to play so well.
Actually, it wasn’t about playing perfectly. Her technique wasn’t superior, but that piece was definitely adding some extra points for her.

Liam, Cherise, and Tina all awarded high scores of 9, 8, and 9, purting Madeline temporarily tied for first place on the leaderboard with contestant number one, Miles.
Liam picked up the mic to give his feedback. “Contestant number 19, Madeline, overall played quite well. It’s evident that your fingering and techniques have had expert guidance.”
His gaze briefly flicked towards Cherise on the side before continuing, “You have incredible potential, and your emotional expression was delicate. Keep it up, and I believe you can go far on the path of piano performance.”
After Liam’s comments, Madeline bowed politely to the three judges, feeling delighted with her excellent performance today. Her inner satisfaction grew as she thought about how everything in the Traditional Medicine Department at Betrico. University had improved since Cherise arrived.
As Madeline left the stage, the host announced, “Thank you to contestant number 19 for that wonderful performance. Now, let’s welcome our next player–the final contestant of this piano competition. Please welcome Shirley from the Arts. Department at Betrico University!”
