Morris was at the Chivers residence, catching up on work with Steven via video call, when Zamora Comics came up.

“Oh?” Morris raised his eyebrows, a hint of displeasure flashing in his eyes.
Steven summarized the previous day’s events and added, “Could Ms. Cherise Leach or Ms. Dora Xenakis be behind the stock fasco?”

It wasn’t far. With just a short drive and a turn, she saw Morris’s tall and imposing figure standing at the entrance of the Chivers residence.
The two guards at the entrance found it odd when Morris came out; he was usually chauffeured and never set foot on the ground when passing through the gate. They thought he had come to inspect their work.
