should be better to grow up in.
brilliant idea flashed through my mind. “Jane, can you call Zoe and ask him if he would like to stay at our home? Like a sleepover for a week or so?”
Jane’s beautiful face boomed with happiness; she was overexcited to hear my proposal.
“That will be great, mommy. Zoe and I will play after school.”
She clapped gleefully and called Zoe through her smartwatch. Her friend’s serious voice from the other side cut through my heart.
