His resistance left the police with no choice but to use force. The officers tackled him down, pushing him against the wall.
“This evidence has revealed the history of suppressing your business rivals, Mr. Leo. You
have used unscrupulous methods for climbing to power.”
The police officer warned Leo to cooperate, or else he would face more charges. His
assistant knocked some sense in his thick head.
“Please go with the police, Sir. I will take Mr. Grant to the police station. Then we’ll plan our
next plan of actions.”
The mention of his intelligent lawyers finally put an end to the shit show, Leo roared like a
feral lion.
“My legal team will challenge this fake evidence in court. I will sue you for defamation.
I will see you all in the court.”
Leo reacted violently due to surprise; the hope of his legal touts fueled his courage. But it
was all until his beloved media representatives met him outside the double doors of the
hall. They descended on him like a pack of wolves.
“How can you take part in illegal practices as an ice hockey star? Don’t you think you have disappointed your fans?”
I didn’t utter a single word after Henry’s proof, watching Leo’s ruination with a detached gaze was more than enough. With Bright standing proudly by my side, I witnessed Leo’s journey from hero to zero, he lost his honor and fame simultaneously.

My condescending glare fell on him, feeling no sympathy for this cruel man, he deserved this. The composure Leo was proud of himself finally crumbled down around him. His turbulent emotions were crystal clear today.

The police officers made their way through the sea of enraged journalists, trying to end this presser, but in vain. Leo’s clarification became fodder for ridicule as he spoke up for him,
pleading for cooperation.
The officers were pushing him inside the prisoner van when his panicked gaze met with mine. A look of great astonishment swept across his face, watching that dumb and foolish Laura Green from the past. The girl he mistreated earlier was a strong businesswoman
now.
I trusted him as a wife, relying on him for a smooth partnership. But he mistook it as my
weakness, underestimating my talent.
But today, I proved to him that Laura was never weak, she only made the mistake of loving her celebrity crush. And now, she is a business icon, only because of her wisdom and

This fateful event of auction brought a sense of great jubilation to my life, calming my
