I don’t blame him. I was her boyfriend and I’ve slept with her a couple of times but I was still surprised that she could do such a thing.

“What if it wasn’t salt they used to compromise the food? What if it was poison? Something harmful to the system? “Don’t know how long I can take this,” I complained to Fleur who shook his head.
“You can’t change her, she’s obsessed with being with you and she’s going to go to length to achieve it, Fleur said.
His words were true and the truth hurt.

Fleur warned me that going after my long lost love would be bad but I didn’t listen and he warned me not to go after Ana, my ex–wife that it was going to be a disaster but I didn’t listen and now, I’ve gotten myself entangled with someone capable of killing whoever was in her way to get to me.
Fleur stopped the car in the mansion and I alighted from the vehicle and walked in, ignoring greetings from my staff. Those are the last things in my mind..
If greetings could solve my problems, I’d gather hundreds of people to gather around and greet me from dawn till dusk but it wouldn’t solve any problem.
My problem was inside my house, sitting on a sofa and munching on some chips. Ready to deceive me with fake smiles and an innocent face.
“Welcome honey. I’ve been waiting for you. Why did you call earlier? I wondered if you were okay because of the manner of questions you asked.” She said dusting my shirt but I looked at her pretentious face and pulled away from her touch.
“What did you do with Ana’s dish for the conference?” I asked, getting straight to the point.
I contemplated asking her to tell me where she went this morning but I figured that it wasn’t the most pressing issue at hand and she could easily formulate bes to cover up.
She looked shocked by my question, but it was part of her tactics.
“W- why are you asking me this? I have no idea what you’re asking of me. She replied with a clueless expression but I saw beyond the facade she put up that she was scared and didn’t expect that I’ll ever know.
She didn’t know that they all knew she was the one who sent the intruder. He was supposed to come in secretly and move out that way too but Ana was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of him. Though he was covered from head to toe in black, she saw him sneak in and out of the mansion.
