“Whose is it?” I asked coldly, glancing at the hospital’s main entrance.
“It’s not Wesley’s. The baby belongs to the real estate boss. When Camilla first found out she
was pregnant, she secretly went to see him, but he threw her out. That’s when she set her
sights on Wesley. To be honest, Wesley is a bit of a sucker in this situation,” Bowen
xplained.
I let out a dry laugh. “He’s not a sucker at all.”
In the year we’d been married, Wesley had tried countless times to use the idea of
pregnancy to trap me. Each time I caught on, he’d feign innocence, claiming it was just because he loved me so much,

After she was discharged, the cooling–off period for their divorce was just about up.
“Wesley, my parents are asking about the progress on your ‘complete family‘
documentation. The village committee is pressing for signatures to finalize the demolition
paperwork,” I said, throwing a demolition agreement onto the table.
Wesley’s face lit up with joy.
“Nora, let’s go register our marriage tomorrow!” he exclaimed.
I nodded, hiding a faint smile. Tomorrow would be the day I’d spring the trap.
The next day, Wesley scheduled our appointment for the afternoon, but I arrived early and

waited at a café across from the marriage registration office.
Right after the office opened, I saw Wesley pulling Camilla toward the entrance.
He intended to handle the divorce and the marriage registration all in one go. Efficient to
the very end.
As soon as they walked inside, I followed.

else chimed in.
Wesley ignored the comments, his mind completely consumed by the thought of the 10 million dollars demolition payout.
Camilla, however, was visibly uncomfortable.
“Wesley, will you still treat me this well after the divorce?” she asked nervously.
With the divorce stamp almost in sight, Wesley couldn’t contain his excitement and nodded
eagerly.
“Don’t worry, Camilla. Even after I marry Nora, you’ll always be the one I truly love. Besides, you’re carrying my child. Everything I have will belong to you and our baby
Reassured by his promise, Camilla finally relaxed and signed the divorce papers. With the final stamp, the process was complete.
Wesley and Camilla each held their divorce certificate as they turned around–only to find me standing behind them, flashing a bold smile.

“Nora… what are you doing here?” he stammered, his face pale,
