Chapter 30
Ana
It’s been a few days and I decided to take advantage of the attention I got from the conference to my advantage. I had gotten a place already where I planned to set up my restaurant but I haven’t done anything yet with the space
Seeing the turnouts of events and the way a lot of people kept asking me about my restaurant and where to get my food, I decided to set it up at once and begin making delicacies in its kitchen.
With the help of some famous designers, I got my kitchen the way I wanted it. I asked for an American–style kitchen and that was exactly what I got with a lot of workspace as we needed that to make a lot of dishes undisturbed with restrictions.
Of course, Terry came around and contributed his bits, especially in the supervision and arrangement of the restaurant’s menu.
We also made some of the dishes on the menu and took raptivating pictures of them to attach to the menu so that customers would have a look at what they were going to order and get exactly what they saw on the mem–it was a tip five–star restaurant’s used and I learned it from Terry and

Terry asked me why I picked the name and 1 broke it slown for him, stating every meaning of the name and putting them together in summary.
Blue Ivy as the name of my restaurant means natural beauty, since we would be making delicacies and memories from what nature has for us, it ©also signifies calm elegance and it can be seen in the space and aesthetics of the restaurant where people can come and ease their stress from
bebolding the beauty of the place. I could go on and on, but I don’t want to bore you.” I said with a laugh, brushing the topic aside but Terry just nodded his head thoughtfully.
“I must say, Ana, that is one of the most beautiful meanings to the name of a restaurant I’ve ever heard” He remarked and I greeted him with a

The next day was hude day and I put out vacancy notifications to a couple of culinary schools I discussed with the management to give me

and
Some mastered grilling while some in soups stews, some could bake well and some could mix up some good liquor. I wanted my restaurant to be a haven forpeople who wanted to forget their sorrows and rat good.
I also wanted it to be an inspiration so I went for the best.
I organized a cooking test and set a timer for each set, depending on the specialization, I asked them to make my star dishes and the one who was the best within a limited time got hired.
Learning from a chef and eating at restaurants, I knew that not all chefs could cook well and I didn’t want to make the mistake of employing a chef who didn’t know his way around the kitchen.
The screening went well and I hired the bunch who passed the tests.
It was a fun experience for me to set up the place and I couldn’t wait to start.
I put them through the goals and vision of the restaurant and I gave them their new aprons with the Blue Ivy logo on it and I was glad that they loved it. We tested the burners to be sure that everything was put in place before calling it a day.
It’s been two weeks now and the turn up was massive. People from Terry’s side some more from Grandma Mira’s side and some who wanted to see what the crowd was all about, we were selling all the same and I was busy.
Though it meant that I was tired but I couldn’t care less, more work, more money.

“You look like a joke in that rag Ana, you’ve always looked like a joke to me” Another said shaking her head.
“So what do you call this? Blue Ivy huh? You mean total disgrace” Another busted out laughing
I didn’t know why I just stood there, glued to the ground. Unable to move or say anything.
The food must’ve been so sweet because no one noticed what was going on backstage.

“Should we take some money instead?” One asked the rest and turned to me when their eyes lit up at the idea.
“Hey, how about you give us all the money you’ve made today huh? So we can open restaurants too huh?” He said with a mocking tone and they burst into a round of laughter.
I stood there with my heads bowed but I immediately raised my head when I noticed that they weren’t laughing anymore and they all looked frightened
They were all looking behind me so I followed their gaze and my knees became weak instantly when I saw Quinn standing behind me.
