Sophia POV
In another ward, after the door closed, I couldn’t help but furrow my brows, “What does Elias want?”
wa shook her head, not wanting to discuss the matter. “It’s nothing. He’s just the playful type, and he didn’t give me a hard time. You should go back now. You have work
tomorrow.”
My eyes flickered, “Alright, then. Take care and call me if you need anything.”

I left, closing the door behind me. As I turned, I saw Lukas coming out from the neighboring
ward
Both of us glanced at each other and then averted our gazes simultaneously
I squeezed my fingers. I hadn’t done anything wrong, so why should I feel like I had done something worth boring guilty about?
With this thought in mand, I turned my head and walked towards the elevator as if nothing
had happened

Lukar’s expression remained stern as he heard me continue. “By the way, this afternoon, when I invited Mr. Schmidt to have lunch, I didn’t know that you were in the neighboring ward. If I had known, I would have definitely rejected Mr. Schmidt’s invitation.”
I made it clear that this afternoon, I didn’t invite Lukas to the neighboring ward for lunch. nor did I have any intention of initiating a conversation with him.

Just then, the elevator door opened, and he snorted coldly, struding towards the parking lot

I instantly recalled this morning, when Lukas asked me about my shampoo and shower gel preferences.
My steps faltered, and I subconsciously looked at Lukas and the housekeeper.
Seeing my gaze, Lukas suddenly became uncomfortable. His face was a little red, and his tone wasn’t very good, “You’ve bought them, and there’s no need to report such things to
me.”
My eyes flickered. Was it just my imagination?
Why did I feel that Lukas was a little embarrassed and angry?
The housekeeper didn’t expect Lukas to suddenly get angry, so he hurriedly nodded, “Alright, sir, I’ll keep that in mind.”
With a darkened face, Lukas passed by me and headed upstairs.

I couldn’t hold back anymore and rolled my eyes, casually going upstairs.
In Lukas’s room, he picked up the newly purchased shower gel and shampoo, glanced at the names – the same as the ones I mentioned in the morning.

He took off his clothes and started taking a shower.
Before, he was clearly pretending to be picky and unwilling to use such things.
However, when he started taking a shower, he thought of the scene where he could hold me at night and sleep peacefully. After a few silent seconds, he took the shampoo and started washing his hair without a word.
After washing his hair, he frowned and stared at the shower gel in his hand. Then, with a
mber gaze, he squeezed some onto his body and started rubbing it in.
Lukas thought that if he used the same shampoo and shower gel as Sophia, he would be able to sleep peacefully afterward.
However, he never expected that after showering, his whole body would smell so sweet, which felt extremely weird to him.
Lying in bed, he tossed and turned, unable to fall asleep.
Finally, an hour later, he unwillingly got up and took another shower to reduce the fragrance on his body.
But even after showering again, he couldn’t fall asleep.
On the other hand, I, after taking a shower, fell asleep quickly.
Around midnight, I felt unusually thirsty. Rubbing my sleepy eyes, I turned over and opened my eyes, planning to get out of bed to drink some water.
But as soon as I reached out to turn on the light, I touched someone’s hand next to the bed.
“Ahh!” I screamed and jumped up from the bed.
