Zachary covered his mouth, furious as he pointed at Jonah. “Are you seriously doing this over a mere woman? Weren’t you the first one who decided she was repulsive?
“It was because you and Lucy wanted to blackmail her that you gave us permission to bed her. But now that the baby is gone, you’re acting all high and mighty!”
“I said, shut up.”
Jonah had seemingly reached the height of his fury as he pinned Zachary to the floor and repeatedly punched him.
“Joe, stop it!” Afraid that things would get out of hand, Lucy stepped forward to stop them, only to be flung away by Jonah.
Her bottom landed on that lump of flesh, and she jumped up in shock when she realized what it was. “Someone get this crap away from me!”
When Jonah heard her, he cocked his head at her and shot her a cold, sharp gaze.
At that moment, Jonah’s assistant, Philip Hudson, came over.
“Bad news, Mr. Sawyer! Someone posted a video of you and Ms. Morgan, and it’s going viral! The Sawyer Group’s shares are plummeting!”
Jonah immediately played the video on the tablet Philip had passed over. The footage was of him and Lucy puppeting me on the bench while I was naked.
The discussions surrounding the video were heated.
“I can’t believe the wife–loving persona has all been a facade. Is Jonah even human?”
“He’s a monster, that’s for sure. Chelsea is a pregnant woman who was unfortunate enough to fall victim to their heinous acts.”
“Lucy is a psychotic bitch. She’s not only a homewrecker but also unhinged enough to coerce Jonah into doing this. Gosh, I’m so mad.”
When Lucy read the comments, she almost fell to her knees. “Chelsea must’ve orchestrated this. That bitch must’ve known all along and waited for us to fall into her trap! I bet she aborted the baby herself!”
She tugged Jonah’s sleeve, begging, “We can’t let her off, Jonah. She’s trying to destroy us!”
However, he shook off her hand and turned to Philip. “Where’s Chelsea? I have to see her.”
After, Philip had handed him an address, Jonah, still reeking of alcohol and barely sober, jumped into his car and sped toward the hospital, blowing through a dozen red lights on the way.
The moment he arrived, he headed straight for the obstetrics ward.
“Chelsea, I’m here!” He pushed open the door, only to be welcomed by an empty ward.
“How could this be? Where’s Chelsea? Where is my wife?” he roared at a passing nurse he had stopped, acting like a madman.

Jonah’s hand, gripping the nurse, stiffened slightly, “How did she lose her baby?”
The nurse was dumbfounded by his question. “Shouldn’t you know best? You had your fun and didn’t even bother to check on your wife and realize she was bleeding severely. How dare you call yourself a husband?”
Jonah could barely hear anything by then. He was haunted by my voice, pleading, “Save me.”
At that time, he laughed alongside the men who had assaulted me and strode off without looking back, leaving me drowning in despair.
A thud sounded in the ward as he collapsed to his knees,
“It’s me. I did this to her. I killed my baby.” His eyes were filled with tears and remorse. “Where is she now? Could you please tell me that?”
