After hearing what Wilhelmina had said, Fiona glanced at her. Contrarily, Fiona was aware of the truth, and because of her heart condition, Conrad was afraid she wouldn’t be able to take the news well, so he told her the truth. “Don’t you know Conrad’s character No one can change his mind once he has made a decision.” While saying that, she clutched her chest. “Oh, my poor grandchild. They’re gone just like that. Whenever I think of it, I just can’t help myself. I can’t take it anymore. I need to get back to my room and take a rest.” When she reached out her arm, a maid immediately rushed to her side and supported her up the stairs.
As an experienced and sharp woman, there was no way Fiona would be deceived by Wilhelmina’s tricks.
At this time, Conrad walked into the house with a cold and serious expression. “Let the past stay in the past. No one is allowed to mention a single word about it again.”

“I’ve always kept my personal and professional life separate. If you dare to stir up a fight with her again, I won’t let you go easily.” After saying this; Conrad turned on his heels and went upstairs without sparing Wilhelmina another glance.
She was eventually left behind, trembling with fear. Even though he treated me coldly back then, he never gave me a stern warning because of another woman. His recent behavior has been extremely unusual! “Angela is up to no good, Conrad. Her personal life is a mess, and she has dated many men before. There’s a chance that she was already pregnant before the artificial insemination, and the child isn’t even yours. You’re wise enough to abort the child, or she may have duped you.” She deliberately slandered Angela to plant the seed of
doubt in his mind.
Nevertheless, Conrad halted in his steps briefly before walking up the stairs.
In the meantime, Angela’s pregnancy symptoms have worsened over the past few days, and she felt queasy whenever she was hungry. Hence, she always had some snacks on hand to eat whenever she got hungry and to alleviate her nausea.
At that moment, the front desk called to tell her that someone had come to see her. Later, she went outside and saw a middle–aged woman she didn’t recognize, dressed in expensive designer clothes, and appeared to be quite wealthy, so she asked, “Are you looking for me?”
Then, the woman gave Angela a thorough once–over and snorted in disgust. “You b*tch! You certainly have a provocative appearance. It’s no surprise that you were able to attract male attention.”
Angela was puzzled by the woman’s words, and her intuition told her the visitor was unfriendly, so she instinctively took a few steps back. “Are you mistaking me for someone else?”
At this instant, the person from the front desk informed her, “She is the wife of Mr. Albert Lawson, the
president of Lionforce Corporation”

Albert Lawson? Angela eventually recalled that it was the old pervert who harassed her at the jewelry exhibition last month and was reprimanded by her before fleeing in disgrace. Could that pervert still harbor a grudge against me and send his wife to settle the score? “Mrs. Lawson, if you have a score to settle, you should find your husband. I’m busy with work, so please excuse me.”
Following this, she turned to leave, but Helen Walker quickly advanced and grabbed her arm. “You little sl’t! You seduced my husband and even got pregnant with his b*stard child! Who else should I seek revenge on if not for you?!”

“I have evidence; otherwise, I wouldn’t have come to find you.” Helen pulled a stack of photos from her bag and showed them to her. The pictures showed the old pervert with a naked woman engaging in a highly inappropriate act while sitting on his lap.
In the meantime, Angela finally realized the severity of the situation. Someone has slandered me! Then, she clarified, “These photos are photoshopped. I’m not the person in the photos. Someone must be framing
me.”
Nonetheless, Helen didn’t buy her words and glared at her. “Who else could it be in these pictures if not you?”
“You should ask your husband,” Angela retorted. Money can buy anything, and the old pervert is sufficiently wealthy to pay those women who are willing to offer him their bodies.
Suddenly, Kelly walked out and asked, “Angela, I’ve noticed you’ve been feeling nauseous lately. Are you pregnant?”
