Natalie was amused by Darren’s confidence and humor.
The fourth question of the test was the size of their partners.
She had a one–night stand with Darren; although she was dazed, she had a vague memory about it.
“Admit it, Natalie! You like me,” Darren teased. Seeing Natalie remain silent, he continued, “I know you’re playing hard, so you refused my proposal.”
Natalie rolled her eyes and said speechlessly, “I suggest you go to therapy. You know, you’re a little paranoid.
Darren, however, acted as if he didn’t hear and sighed to himself, continuing, “All right, for the sake of my son, I can repursue you and then you agree to remarry me when you’re satisfied.”
Natalie couldn’t hold back and said bluntly, “I’m putting the cards on the table. The reason I remember your size is that it’s the smallest I’ve ever seen.”
Darren’s expression froze, and he said angrily, “You’re lying!” He had confidence in his size, for sure.
Natalie pouted and added, “I didn’t want to remember that night, but it was too frustrating.”
Darren snapped, “Shut up!”

The words stung Darren. He clenched his hands with a hurt look.
Natalie continued, “Didn’t you say yesterday was my last chance Why bring up remarriage today?”
Darren pulled back his thoughts and threatened, “It’s none of your business. Keep quiet or I’ll throw you off!”
Startled, Natalie quickly tightened her grip. Darren instantly felt choked and complained, “Natalie, are you trying to murder your husband?”
“Ex–husband,” corrected Natalie.
“Anyway, it’s the same,” Darren said sulkily.
Natalie corrected him again, “No, there’s a huge difference.”
Darren turned his head and glared at her, reminding her, “Can’t you keep quiet for a second? I mean to throw you off!”
Natalie said calmly, “Show me.”
At this time, a staff handed over a ribbon, and Natalie, out of patience, roughly tied it around Darren’s eyes, causing Darren to grumble again.

The second round officially began, which was rather easy for them since Darren was very fit and strong. Under the proper and precise instruction of Natalie, they were undoubtedly the fastest to finish.
They smoothly moved on to the third round.
The third game required the couples to bite each end of a red rope where in the middle was a lit cigarette. They needed to cooperate to light up five matches standing on the table, and the team that took the shortest time to win.
Natalie and Darren were both intelligent enough to figure out they had to straighten the line as much as they could.
As expected, in less than a minute, they won the game.
Then the host gave a small gift box to Natalie who opened it and saw a silk bag inside. In the bag was a business card with the name of Mr. Brown who specialized in repairing statues.
‘The ultimate task of this game is to repair the statue. We’ve gotten the contact information of the specialist. Now we just need to find the statue to be repaired!‘ thought Natalie.
There were also ten pieces of the puzzle in the silk bag. So far Darren and Natalie had gotten twenty pieces, adding to the ones they got in previous tasks.

Perceiving Natalie’s eagerness, Darren pursed his lips and didn’t respond.
Natalie walked in front, followed by Darren. The two walked one after the other without any communication, but the scene still provoked Vivian who sat off the stage.
The fact that they passed the bonding test together hurt Vician. What upset her more was that Darren and Natalie whispered to each other intimately on the stage. Vivian gritted her teeth out of jealousy.
She glared at Natalie and cursed, ‘Natalie, you’ve divorced Darren. How could you be so shameless, seducing him again? Do

Having no idea of Vivian’s conspiracy, Natalie led Darren away from the restaurant and went straight to the hotel lobby to check out.
‘Ms. Dowd lives in the suburbs of the city, which is a little far. We may get there in the late afternoon even at the fastest speed, so we might complete the mission the next day if everything goes well, deliberated Natalie.
Natalie couldn’t help feeling sad and urged the receptionist, “Could you please hurry up?”
“Do you have an appointment with Death?” said Darren sarcastically.
He had noticed that she had been eager to finish the game to part with him, which upset him very much as in the past Natalie always clung to him.
Natalie rebuked, “Yeah, I can’t wait to restart my incredible life where I don’t have to see your face.”
Darren was speechless and snorted, “Unfortunately, you have to put up with this face today, tomorrow, and probably in the future. You know things don’t always go to plan.”
