Nicole remained in a daze up until Aaron’s deep, magnetic voice rang out next to her ear. “It looks like you’re still not used to your status as my fiancée !
Her lips twitched, and her body tumed numb, but she had no choice other than to head downstairs.
Heidi, on the other hand, seemed greatly amused to see Aaron showing such concem for Nicole.
In fact. as soon as Nicole walked over to the couch, Heidi scooted over to make room for her.

When she heard Nicole’s words, her expression changed imperceptibly and she immediately said in a high–pitched voice, “I’m also really worried about Dad, Aaron. How about I go with you? That way, Dad will feel relieved to see me when he wakes up.”
The smile on Aaron’s face faded instantly at the sound of Monica’s falsetto, and he made no effort to conceal the disgust in his eyes.
Nicole arched an eyebrow, but she didn’t intend to speak up.
Instead, she wanted to see how Aaron would react.
Unexpectedly, he abruptly stood up with her in his arms. He was holding her intimately without even a trace of awkwardness from being with a new acquaintance. He didn’t look at Monica and addressed Heidi instead. “I’m Lading my fiancée out, so I don’t wish for anyone else to come along, Mrs. Boyd. I reasonable to you?”
Heidi had experienced what it was like to be young and in love, so she naturally understood how Aaron felt.
When people were in love, they obviously didn’t want a third person getting in the way yot their time together

Monica halted on her way down the steps, the smile on her face vanishing instantly.
Aaron simply left with Nicole. When the two of them exited the Boyd residence, Nicole smiled faintly.
“Are you very happy?” Aaron asked, his deep voice sounding from above her head.
His question caught her off guard. Her smile had barely been perceptible, but he had still caught it?
Did he have eagle eyes?
She whispered softly, “No.”
“I think I can roughly understand how you feel. You’re obviously the Boyds biological daughter, but y
you always feel as if your identity has been stolen, right?”
The look in her eyes changed slightly at that, and she raised her head to meet his gaze. “Are you capable of finding out anything you want because of your status, Mr. Compton?”

Aaron, and the curious look in his eyes became more evident. “What is it? Do you want to use your rights as my fiancée? Nicole frowned. Why wouldn’t she use the resources available to her instead of wasting unnecessary effort?
