Jonathan nodded and said, “Yeah, Whitney’s got way more influence in the company. After all, she became the GM at just twenty.”
Cynthia was lost in thought.
Jonathan continued, “And even if they’re not supporting Whitney, if anyone disrespects you, feel free to snap back. I’ve got your back; I’m not letting you suffer for me.”
Cynthia smiled and replied, “Okay, got it.”
Cynthia had never been one to be pushed around. She was just not familiar with the company’s situation right now, so she was putting the big picture first for Jonathan’s sake.
Cynthia didn’t want to offend anyone. These people might be Jonathan’s key supporters in the future. But since Jonathan said they were Whitney’s followers, she didn’t have to be polite.
