Chapter Bo
Blair showed no sign of fear, even in the face of Abigail’s harsh questioning
Instead, she smiled back at Abigail and shrugged “Well, since you’ve brought it up, let’s see if he’s willing to go with you.”
After speaking, Mair glanced at me.
Although she said nothing, I could clearly sense her commanding me not to get out of the car.
I took a deep breath and opened the door, stepping out.
The moment I got out, I could distinctly feel Blair’s gaze on me, as if she could almost kill me
with it.
I shook my head, signaling to her not to interfere with my
ituation.
Once I was in Abigail’s car, I noticed that Blair hadn’t left. Instead, she was still closely.
following us.
Abigail’s expression instantly darkened when she found out.
She asked with a cold expression, “Are you two close?”
I calmly shook my head. “That’s none of your business, is it?”
As soon as I said this, I noticed a flicker of hurt on Abigail’s face.
I looked at her calmly and asked, “Didn’t you want to let me come alone? Why are you here
now?”
I had no idea when Abigail had arrived.
Since she mentioned she was busy and told me to handle things by myself, I hadn’t paid attention to whether she was around.
But judging by her attitude toward Blair, it seemed she might have overheard our
conversation.
Abigail had a talent for finding trouble for me.
I didn’t want to create more issues, so I figured it would be best to get her to leave quickly.
“Answer me, Samuel.”
Abigail’s gaze was fixed on me, her eyes flashing with anger. “What is your relationship with her?”
I was overwhelmed by Abigail’s relentless questioning, feeling increasingly flustered and
annoyed.

so, I glared at her and anled indignantly, “What do you mean by that, Abigail?
“Are you trying to pin me down with an accusation of cheating just because you haven’t had a chance to cause me trouble lately?”
Abigail let out a cold laugh.
She sized me up with narrow eyes and coldly retorted, “So, what you’re saying is that it’s a misunderstanding?”
Before I could respond, she laughed coldly and asked, “If you haven’t cheated, why did Blair say she would help you get a divorce from me?”
I was dumbfounded..
My heart sank as I looked up at Abigall in disbelief.
Sure enough, she had overheard our conversation. But I didn’t know where she had started listening.
I felt suffocated in this tight space.
Struggling to catch my breath, I glared at her and shouted, “Pull over! Pull over!”
The car suddenly slammed to a stop.
Blair, who was closely following behind, nearly rear–ended us.
But before I could open the door, Abigail grabbed my hand tightly and demanded, “Samuel, don’t forget, we’re not divorced yet. You are still my husband!
“If I haven’t let you go, you will always be a dog under me, with no right to fight back. Do you understand?”
Her eyes were dark, and she gritted her teeth as she scolded me.
Having lived with her for so long, I understood that she was genuinely angry this time.
