They were on a group video call. While Howard was shouting plfifully. Ethan appeared on the screen but was quickly. pushed aside by a lively, charming young girl.
“Hello, Mr. Luther!” she greeted politely, then laughed heartily without reservation. “Howard, what kind of look is that? I haven’t seen you in a while, and now you look like a refugee fleeing from a disaster!”

Darren’s eardrums were pounding from the noise, so he held the phone a bit farther away and curtly said, “Just get to the point.”
It was only then that Howard realized he had been sidetracked. He glared at Nicole and said, “Little girl, go play somewhere. else. Don’t interrupt the grown–ups
He then turned back to Darren and continued to whine, “Darren, please get me out of here! Damn it, this life is unbearable! I have to get up at five in the morning to herd sheep, and I’m out there all day! I think my skin’s been a bit damaged by the sunlight, and that’s not even the worst part. Can you imagine how nerve–wracking it is to listen to a hundred sheep bleating together?”
As he spoke, he raised his phone, and the camera captured a leisurely grazing flock of sheep.
Then he hastily put his phone down and whispered, “I took my phone back while the bodyguard wasn’t looking. Darren, I can’t take it anymore. You’ve got to find a way to get me back to the country.”
“You want me to go against your father?” Darren frowned. “Since he told you to stay there, why are you in such a rush to come back? Once his anger subsides, he’ll naturally let you retum.
“How can I not be in a rush?!” Howard exclaimed anxiously. “I’m beyond desperate! Natalie has enrolled in a dating show, and I need to hurry back to participate as well”
Darren raised an eyebrow, a faint smile playing on his lips.
He thought, ‘It seems that half a month of herding sheep isn’t enough.
Howard kept rambling. “This kind of dating show is perfect for developing feelings. Darren, just think about it–handsome men and beautiful women, spending time together day and night. Feelings are bound to grow over time. If I showcase my charm appropriately, Natalie will definitely fall for me! I have to be on this dating show!”
Smiling, Ethan stayed silent, his gaze shifting between Darren and Howard as if he were enjoying the show.
“Darren, my lifelong happiness depends on you!” Howard continued to butter Darren up.
“Pathetic,” Darren said, “I’ll talk to your father about it.”
“I knew you were the best, Darren!” Howard said affectionately. I’ll hang up now. I have to put my phone back later, and I’m going to use the time to watch more of Natalie online!”
Later, Darren spoke with Howard’s father, Nicolas Hinton, who interpreted his words differently.
After hanging up, Nicolas immediately instructed Kane, “Make sure Howard herds sheep every morning and night, and have him work at the construction site at noon. Work him to the bone
Kane lowered his eyes and thought to himself, “What a ruthless father.”

A Rolls–Royce glided smoothly down the road. Darren leaned back in his seat, Howard’s words echoing in his mind. He thought, ‘Spending time together day and night… Feelings are bound to grow over time… I will never allow Natalie to cheat on me with another man on a TV show!
“Tony,” he suddenly said, his slender fingers tapping on his suit pants, “go to the Sweet Love Base instead.”
Forty minutes later, the program director, Oscar, rushed to welcome Darren into his office upon hearing of his arrival.
After asking Darren to have a seat, Oscar asked nervously yet courteously, “Mr. Luther, what brings you here today? Has something happened?”
Darren crossed one leg over the other and noticed the Information form on the screen. He raised an eyebrow and asked, “What’s this!”
Oscar hurriedly explained with a smile, “This is the application information for the male participants on our dating show. We’ve filtered out anyone with a net worth of less than 3 billion dollars, but even so, there are still quite a few candidates.”
Darren was slightly surprised. He knew what a net worth of 3 billion dollars meant and couldn’t help but wonder. These men can have any woman they want. Why would they waste their time participating in a TV show? Yet, they’ve sign up.

Oscar was overjoyed at the mention of money. This dating show he directed was different from the popular ones on the market. All those cliché scenes of living together, eating, drinking, shopping, and watching the sea had long been played out. He looked down on that kind of content and was determined to create a unique dating show.

“What?” Oscar was shocked and asked, “Replace Mr. Herman with who? Your friend wants to join the show?
“With me.” Darren stood up. “My assistant will come by tomorrow to sign the contract with you. You can choose the other five male contestants as you see fit. Any problems?
Oscar nodded and then shook his head. He remained somewhat dazed even after he watched Darren’s car disappear from view, finding it utterly inconceivable that Darren was going to participate in a dating show.
