The conference was taking place today, I had just finished a call Klein suit for the umpteenth time today.

Ana would be at the conference. I had to look good. I was about to fix my tic, when I heard a knock on the door.
“Come in.”
It was Veronica, she walked in with a smile on her face. We hadn’t spoken much since the night we argued during Ana’s party.
“Hey I said as she walked towards me.
“Good morning. Seems like you’re already for the conference. Let me help you with the tie.” She said, leaning closer.
I watched her as she did my tie. Looking at her, I felt somewhat guilty. I felt like I was playing with two women, I was chasing Ana while she was still my girlfriend. I was felt like a jerk Memories of the past came flooding.
But she had left me heart broken for three years, saying she wanted to focus on her career. I had been heartbroken. the was the first woman I had ever loved. Then I met Ana, working at a café. The resemblance between her and Veronica was so uncanny, I proposed to her within two weeks.
I had married her because she looked a lot like Veronica. Despite being together, she only reminded me more and more of Veronica. I would leave the house early, and come back home late at night drunk.
She was always up, waiting for me, but I never acknowledged her. She loved me, and I knew she did, but I wasn’t prepared to love again. Slowly, her little actions got to me. On her birthday, I left the house early as usual. I planned to get her a gift to surprise her.
I sat at work, thinking of what to get her when I got a call from an anonymous number.
“Who’s this?” I asked

1 froze as I heard this, I didn’t know what to feel at the moment. I felt anger, pain, surprise, and shock all at the same time.
But I never felt one thing I hoped I would feel, happiness
I was supposed to be happy, my first love was back.
“Im sorry, Quinn. I’m deeply sorry, I was such a fool for letting you go.” I heard her say.
“Are you at the office! I’m coming there.” She said.
“No don’t bother, I’ll meet you instead. Where are you?” I asked.
“My apartment in close to your office, the one with a willow tree in it.” She said.
“Alright.” I said before cutting the call.
My first love was back, I had to go to her, I thought, trying to reassure myself. Maybe it was because I hadn’t seen her face, when I do, I’ll definitely be happy
I called my lawyer to prepare and send me divorce papers immediately. My heart stung after the call. I drove to Veronica’s apartment even though
wai late.
She opened the door and inet ine standing outside. With a smile, she ran towards me and engulfed me in a hug. I hugged her back, but still didn’t feel excited or anything.

I scanned the area searching for Ana, and when I saw her, I held my breath. She was looking breathtakingly beautiful. The floral dress she wore emphasize her curves. The neck was a little deep, and her b**bs popped out a little.
I clenched my jaws at the thought that other men would look at her. And I was right as I could see some men ogling at her.
“Someone is jealous” Fleur said, letting out a whistle.
I watched as she and her caterers moved the dish wares to the space left for the caterers. She tried dragging a table–top, and she seemed to be struggling with it.
