“Hey there.” I heard her say, her sweet voice filling my ears.

“I bet they taste as good as they look, after all you learned from the master.” I said, chuckling.

The sound of her laughter was pleasant to my ears. My thoughts went to the conference and I asked.
“Do you really want to work with him?”

I couldn’t cut the call on her, so I waited for her to disconnect the call. The line was silent for some seconds, before I heard her gasp in fear. I wondered why she gasped, maybe she had seen a roach

1 began to panic, what if something has happened? What if they were in danger?
I decided to go to their house. I quickly changed and rushed downstairs to get my car keys, I couldn’t find it.
“Sh*“” I cursed loudly, I wondered where I had dropped it. I rushed upstairs to get another car key, when I heard someone banging the gate. I contemplated whether to check who it was or to get the car keys first.
