Estelle felt a sudden chill wash over her, leaving her rigid and unmoving.
Whoever was behind this must have known about her current predicament. They deliberately sent someone to testify against her at this exact moment, intent on dragging her into the depths with no way out.
The viciousness of their plan was spine–chilling!
The interrogator studied Estelle. His tone was polite yet carried undeniable authority.
