My thoughts ran through what had happened last night. Who would have thought that the ex husband of the one I had feelings for would be my infamous school enemy, Quinn.
We had always fought for everything, grades, sports, and sometimes girls. He was cold in nature, yet girls were still
attracted to him. I wondered if Ana was attracted to him for that reason too.
I remembered how we met, it was love at first sight. She was a customer at one of my restaurants. One day, she came towards me and asked, “Do you need an assistant, or a sous chef?” She had asked.
“I definitely do need it, but you’ll undergo some tests. There will be judges, to taste and pick the best dish.” I said to her

I was unable to tell her how I feel. I wasn’t wasn’t worried about competition because she didn’t even look at other men. She only cared for her son and grandmother, her parents were dead

“He’s our shopping with grandma.” She answered.
“Moon, he’s Quinn’s child right! I prodded softly. I could hear her sigh softly.
“Do you plan on telling him?” I asked.
“Never, he never wanted a child.” She answered calmly, making it hard to know what she was thinking.

If only she knows that she’s that girl, the one I love. The one I want to be with so badly, to protect, to love and to cherish.
