Henry was momentarily sturmed, muttering. “I can’t believe you actually.
Henry, having known Caleb for ages, had always been aware of how flirtatious he was. Caleb had, at one point, shown some interest in Christine, but kneeling for het was out of the question. Yet, here he was, kneeling for Soplita!
Henay immediately snapped out of his daze and let out a roaring laugh, exclaiming, “I never thought I’d live to see this, Caleb! Come on now! You should admit Your faults and say that you’re my lowly matt!”
caleb’s hands were balled into tight fists, his nails digging into his skin. His eyes were bloodshot, and he had almost wanted to kill Henry right then and there. He however, suddenly recalled Sophia’s ashen face. He knew she was in this predicament because of him, and if her reputation was ruined because of him, he would be no better than a monster.
Having this thought in mind, Caleb immediately groveled before Henry, exclaiming, “It was all my fault I shouldn’t have hit you! Please leave Sophia out of this! I’m your lowly mutt!”
He uttered those degrading phases one after another, stripping him of every last shred of his
pride.
“You fucking fool!” Henry bellowed, tears of mirth streaming down his face. “Did you actually believe your groveling would sway me? That bitch is the reason why my legs are crippled! I’ll make her pay for it!”
Having said that, Henry’s finger hovered over the post button, intending to post those photos online.
“No!” Caleb roared, his reason snapping like a frayed thread. He sprang to his feet, grabbed a nearby vase, and immediately smashed it against Henry’s head, casing blood to burst forth.
Those bodyguards attempted to intervene, but it was already too late.
It was already too late when everyone arrived at the scene. Henry lay lifeless, bludgeoned to death by Caleb with a vase. Those bodyguards were sprawled on the floor, locked unconscious by Caleb’s brutal blows
Caleb, his entire body and face drenched in blood, was still holding onto Henry’s phone, deleting every file on his phone. Though he had deleted everything, he still felt uneasy, considering how advanced technology had become. He wasn’t sure if Henry had backed up those photos, so he was hunting for every possible backup in The cloud storage.
However, the police had already arrived at the scene and restrained him.
In his final moments, Caleb persisted in his struggle, exclaining, “Get off me! Let go of me! I have to delete those photos!”
Those police officers disregarded his pleas entirely and handcuffed him before hauling him away from the scene
Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Sophia was out shopping for home decor with Pauline.
“I’ll be heading back to Chavaria in a couple of days, Sophia, so be sure to take care of yourself while you’re on your own here.”

Caleb, facing undeniable evidence of intentional homicide, had no means of defense and was promptly incarcerated.
There was no doubt that the Walkers were beside themselves because of this incident. Henry was the only heir to the Walker family, after all. They immediately confronted the Lancaster family, demanding an explanation from them for the death of their sole heir.
It was several days later, after the incident, that Caleb’s father, Dominic Lancaster, visited at in prison. They stated at each other through the glass partition in silence for a long time before Domise said coldly, “You’re such an idiot ”
