Chapter 81 

Katrina’s POV 

The halls were quieter now, most of i 

ast of the student 

students having already gone to other classes. 

I clinched my books tightly, my mind racing with everything that had happened. 

I couldn’t focus. It was hand to do so at this point. 

Silas‘ words, the look in his eyes when he had said I’d learn. It had sent thrills down my spine. 

I just wanted to get through this day, but of course, that wasn’t going to happen. 

I could hear footsteps coming behind me and I could tell someone was walking to catch up to me 

“Katrina” 

1 froze at the sound of my name and turned around to see Aiden walking toward me. 

What does he want now? It seemed as if he didn’t want to talk to me earlier, so what was this now? 

And I didn’t see the blondie with him, the one that stuck to him like glue. 

I wasn’t certain if I was still supposed to take him out, so I let it go. 

His lips were pulled into a smile as he closed the distance between us, but it didn’t ease the sudden tension in my chest.

“You wanted to talk to me earlier?” he asked, tilting his head slightly as he stopped in front of me. 

My throat went dry as I stared at him. 

I had no idea what to say: Why had I even thought this was a good idea? 

Talking to him on the very first day,

He waited, his green eyes expectant as I scrambled for something to say. 

I just..” I stuttered, feeling my cheeks heat up. “I, um…. I wanted to ask about the notes for the Last class. 

The words tumbled out of my mouth, and I immediately regretted them. Notes? Really? 

ut at this point, I couldn’t think of a better thing to say.

My heart skipped at his words, but before I could respond, he gave me a small wave. Tll see you around, Katrina.” 

And just like that, he walked away, leaving me standing there, still chitching my books, confused as hell. 

Cute? He thought I was cute! 

But I didn’t have time to dwell on that because I could feel the heavy gaze boring into me from somewhere nearby. 

It just had to be him. 

I tried to steady my breathing as I walked to the library, pretending not to notice Silas following me. 

His footsteps were slow as he walked behind me and far too close for comfort. 

When I reached the empty corner of the Library, I spun around to face him, my heart pounding. 

“What do you want?” I asked, my voice barely steady. 

He had followed me all the way here, clearly he needed something. 

Silas stepped closer, his eyes unreadable. “You know what I want, Katrina

My heart racing in my chest told me that I did, but I just didn’t want to think about it. 

I swallowed hard, taking a step back, but he followed until my back hit the bookshelf. 

“You Let him touch you earlier,” he said, his voice low. It sent a shiver down my spine, reminding me of all the dangerous things he does. 

But why was he blaming me for that Aiden didn’t even touch me and I only talked to him because he asked me to

It just happened, I can’t be blamed for someone spontaneously reaching out and touching me. 

It’s not like they would ask ‘Can I touch you?‘ and my reply would be a no. 

“You talked to him. His tone cut through my words and I resisted the urge to bash his head with a book. 

“I talked to him because you told me to!” I groaned loudly, starting to find this annoying. 

What kind of person was this and where did I find him? 

“He smiled at you You Let him call you cute.” 

I froze. Of course, he’d seen that. Of course, he was watching.

Thinking about that. I didn’t know what to feel at this point. 

Silas’s hand moved to my chin, tilting my face up to meet his eyes. “Do you know how that makes me feel, Katrina?”

How did another man calling me cute make him feel? I had an idea, but I didn’t want to entertain his nonsense 

“I don’t care,” I whispered, though my voice betrayed me. 

His Lips twitched into a smirk. “You should.”

Before I could respond. Silas’s hands gripped my waist, pulling me closer. My heart raced as he lifted me slightly, setting me on the small table behind me. 

“Silas, what are you doing?” I whispered, glancing around nervously. 

What if we get caught? I didn’t want to get caught with a professor on my very first day. 

That could be scandalous. 

A girl came along, gasping lightly as she stopped close to ats, staring, 

Silas immediately pulled me into his chest, his hands placed at the back of my head as he held me in place. 

Being in this position, for some reason, made me smile. I was excited, and I didn’t even know why. 

After a while, Silas pulled me away from his chest and I turned to the direction she was standing. 

“No one’s here.” he murmured, his lips brushing against my ear. And even if they were, I wouldn’t care.” 

My breath hitched as his hands slid down my thighs, parting the effortlessly. His eyes locked onto mine, dark and full of hunger. 

“Do you think I’ll let you get away with this?” he asked, growling softly. 

“Get away with what?” I managed to say, though my voice trembled. 

“Making me jealous. 

Lopened my mouth to argue, but the words disappeared the moment his lips trailed down my neck. His touch was rough, eaving me breathless. 

The fishnets I wore were pulled down, pooling at my feet. 

Silas” I breathed, my heart racing. 

Quiet,” he ordered, his hands gripping my thighs harder. “You’re mine, Katrina. And I’m going to remind you.”

My body shook as I got to the peak of bliss, my eyes rolling back 

Satisfied, Silas finally pulled back, his lips glistening with his eyes filled with triumph.. 

“Good girl,” he praised as his lips pulled into a satisfied smirk 

I tried to steady my breathing as he helped me down from the cable. 

He pulled the fish nets back up, fixing my outfit. 

“Now, go back to class,” he said to me, straightening his shirt like nothing had happened. 

“And remember… next time you try to make me jealous, it won’t end here” 

I couldn’t even respond to that, too stunned to do anything but pod as I slipped out of the library. 

But as I walked away. I knew one thing for sure. 

It most definitely wasn’t going to end here.
