Chapter 100
Samuel couldn’t be bothered to argue with Felicia.
In no time, Logan had thrown her out.
Just then, Sebastian walked in and asked, “Is that Oven’s mother?”
“Yeah,” Samuel said before tuming to glance at Kylie, Hercheek had already begun to swell.
Samuel immediately ordered, “Find a female doctor. Have her check her face.”
If her face had been the result of cosmetic surgery, that slap–delivered at full force–might’ve done permanent damage.
“I’m fine,” Kylie quickly said. “She’s Owen’s mother. It was just a slap. No big deal. If it helps her vent a little, i
it’s worth it.
“Let her back in. She’s just overwhelmed with worry–people say things they don’t mean when they’re worried.” Samuel let out a cold snort. “So, just because she’s worried about her son, that gives her the right to hit you?”
Kylie froze.
Was he really defending her? Or was this like before—was he just protecting the title of his wife?
Meanwhile, outside the hospital, Felicia had completely lost it. She stood near the entrance, yelling like a madwoman for all to hear. “This hospital is a damn disgrace! You people killed my son!
“Don’t think I’m dumb–enough to believe some “accidental crash‘ story! That whole driver nonsense? Lies! You’re all murderers!”
Sebastian frowned. “This can’t go on.”
Samuel’s eyes darkened. “If she hates this hospital so much, tell her to get the hell in here, sign the discharge papers, and take her son somewhere else.” “No,” Kylie blurted out. “With Owen’s condition, he can’t be moved. A transfer would be too risky.”
Samuel looked at her with narrowed eyes. Then, he said, “Fine. He stays. But she takes care of him. You come home with me.”
“No.” Kylie instantly refused.
Upon seeing them in a deadlock, Sebastian stepped in and said, “You should go. You saw how his mom reacted. If you stay, it’ll only cause more trouble. “The hospital’s one thing, but Owen needs peace and quiet to recover too.”
Kylle hesitated but eventually nodded. “Okay, I’ll stay away for now. Once Mrs. Lloyd calms down, I’ll come back.”
With that, Samuel escorted Kylie out of the hospital.
Barely minutes after they left, Felicia stommand backin and made a beeline for the attending physician.
“I’m here to process a transfer. I’m not leaving my son in a hospital that throws his own mother out. Who knows whether or not you’ve even been trying to save
Troubled, the doctor said, “Mrs. Lloyd, your son’s condition is critical… We’ve truly done everything possible. Our chief surgeon personally performed the operation He’s the most reputable surgeon in Seville.”
Felicia rolled her eyes. “Reputable? Please. He’s nothing compared to Internationally cerined experts. Cut the crap–I’m transferring him. Today.”
“You can’t,” a cold, firm voice rang out from belund her.
Sebastian, dressed in his white coat, walked over. “He won’t survive the transfer. Do you want to kill him?”
Felicia snerted. “Then fix him! You think I don’t know what’s going on here? You’re all in on this! If you’d done your jobs properly, he wouldn’t be in a coma right
now!
The doctor next to Sebastian furrowed his brows. He’d seen unruly family members before–but this was next level.
He turned to Sebastian and asked, “Dr. Miller, how do we handle this?”
