Chapter 52
I had become what I’d worked so hard for. A student of the Elders. This only means I’m one step closer to my goal.
I shook my head and went straight to Alan, Askhan and Cyrus. They were all looking at me with pride in their eyes.
It sent a giddy feeling down my spine. It felt good go get to have so many people supporting you and wishing for your success.
“That was amazing,” Alan started, “You did absolutely great out there, Adella.”
“I try.” I raised my hand, unable to fight back the grin coming forward.
I looked around at the nobles still enjoying themselves. For some people, today had been a day that brought them closer to their goals. To others, it would be a day of sorrow to them since they failed. I was lucky to be part of the former.

“What do you say we enjoy ourselves some more?” Askhan had a wide grin on his face as he spoke.
As fun as the idea sounded, I was beat. The idea didn’t sound all that appealing. I was already exhausted from the whole thing and wanted nothing more than to rest.
“That sounds fun but I’m beat.” I said to Askhan.
He looked a bit down from what I said but he got over it pretty quickly. “Alright, then. You need to get some rest.”
I nodded, and bid them all goodbye before I began making my way to my car. Once I entered, I let out a breath I didn’t know I’d been holding.
Another day. Another success.
Just then, the door opened and someone entered. My eyes widened as Cyrus got into his seat. He turned to me, a small smile on his face.
He looked like a completely different person than the elitist persona he just had in front of

people. His eyes held a gentle softness as he watched me.
“I’m sure you must have realized it already by now.” He started, a small smile on his face.

I nodded my head, but I didn’t say anything yet. I wanted him to expressly say it out without me needing to egg him on.
“I’m your fourth brother, Cyrus Luciano.” He bowed his head before me, the smile never leaving his face.
“Welcome home little princess, I apologize for the lateness of my blessing.”
My gaze was still fixed on Cyrus who had a bright smile on his face. His whole demeanor was calm, like a slow moving ocean.
“How did you do it?” I asked. “I thought it was just my four brothers but then I remember they told me it was five, not four.”
Cyrus hummed as he listened to what I said. “I went to a secret audition at the Royal Academy. I wasn’t allowed to communicate with the outside world.”
“Wow,” I said, unable to believe such a thing was possible. “How did you even do it?”
“It wasn’t easy, that I’ll tell you.” Cyrus laughed, shaking his head. “I was recently just informed by Askhan that you’re my sister.”
I nodded. “And now we’re here.”
“And now we’re here.” He repeated, his face beaming with a smile.
I felt happy to finally meet my last brother. It was like the last piece of a puzzle had just been added and I could now see things clearer than I did before.
“I’m glad I finally got to meet you. You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this.” I
smiled.
“Likewise,” His face was filled with warmth as he spoke. “I’m glad I finally got to meet my baby sister.”
He grabbed my hands and gave it a light squeeze. “I promise to do my best in taking care of

you at the Royal Academy in the future.”
My chest warmed with his affection. Cyrus was completely genuine as he said those words to me and I could tell just by looking into his eyes..
He’d made them an open book for me to see, letting me read him in whatever way I liked. My smile widened without me even realizing it.
“Thank you, Cyrus.” I said to him.
“My pleasure, sis.” He sent me a wink and leaned back into his seat. He closed his eyes for a
brief moment.
I couldn’t help but wonder what was possibly going through his head at that moment. Then his eyes opened again.
He turned to me, unable to fight the smile off his face. “I guess I’ll see you later.”
I nodded my head, staring into his eyes and savoring the look of them one last time. With that, he opened the door and headed out of the car.
My gaze remained fixed on where he’d just been seating for quite some time. I’d just met my brother. The thought was exciting the more I rolled it over my mind.
Letting out a breath, I turned to the driver. “Take me home.”
“Yes, princess.” The driver said curtly before driving the car out of the venue. I leaned back into my seat and thought of all the events of today.
I couldn’t help but think about how Froste had tried his best to make sure the real list was revealed. He’d tried to fight against the initial ruling.
