At the Langley family villa, Camille slowly regained consciousness
The moment she opened her eyes, she say the worried Dustin and Simone’s worried faces
“Simone, Dustin, where am I? Why do I feel so dizzy?” Camille asked blearily.
Memories from before she fainted slowly came back
She remembered that Bella had called her and urged her to drink some wine. After she drank the wine, she felt weak and drowsy.
She recalled seeing a lecherous smile on the face of that rich man as he approached her….
Camille’s eyes widened, and she immediately sprang upright and threw aside
the covers
“Simone, I… How did I get home?” Her eyes welled up, and she trembled.
She was only in her twenties and had never experienced such trauma.
“Don’t worry. Nothing happened to you,” Simone said gently as she caressed Camille’s forehead.
“Dustin brought you home from the hotel. He already dealt with the culprit.”
Camille looked at Dustin when she heard that,
Dustin nodded at her.
Only then did Camille relax.
Still, she could not help but feel scared when he remembered the events of last
night.
“Cam, don’t trust strangers so easily from now on, alright? You’re an adult now. You shouldn’t underestimate how evil people can turn out to be,” said Simone. “I it wasn’t for Dustin, the consequences would have been unimaginable!”
Camille nodded weakly with tears in her eyes. Her bad mood was evident.

“Thank you, Dustin…” she said with her head lowered.
Camille thought that she had finally found an opportunity, but it had just been a nightmarish illusion.
“Cam, maybe you should reconsider acting. You’re so innocent; it’s hard to survive in the entertainment industry,” Simone said and sighed.
Camille was silent for a long time.
She loved acting. It was her passion and brought her immense joy. She enjoyed it as much as she enjoyed painting.

“Being innocent doesn’t mean you can’t make it in the entertainment industry,” Dustin said with a smile. “She just needs someone to protect you.”
Dustin looked at Camille with a gentle smile.

“From now on, I’ll protect you,” Dustin said with a grin. “Get out of bed and wash up. I’ll introduce you to some friends. I have some connections in the

At Dustin’s urging, Camille finally got up and washed her face. She tidied herself and sat obediently in the living room.
Dustin said someone would come to meet him shortly.
Soon, the doorbell rang. Simone went to open the door.

A short–haired woman was standing in the doorway. She was out of breath as though she had rushed here.
“Hello, I’m here to see Miss Camille Langley and Mr. Fox,” said the woman politely.
“Please come in.” Simone led the woman inside.

“You’re the renowned agent, Ruby!” Camille cried out in shock.
Naturally, Camille paid attention to what went on in the entertainment industry.
Ruby was a renowned and respected agent. She had helped many top stars break into the industry, and all of them had gone on to become superstars.
Ruby’s capabilities were exceptional, and she was a formidable person in the
game.
Besides, Ruby used to be Bella’s agent.
“Bella’s success was a direct result of Ruby’s efforts.
Camille was flabbergasted that someone like Ruby was here in her home.
“Hello, Miss Camille. I’ll be your exclusive agent from now on.” After entering, Ruby beamed as she moved to shake hands with Camille.
Camille froze.
“You’re… You’re going to be my agent?” She could not believe it.
