Sebastian walked up to her and said flatly, “I’ll send tians overseas. She won’t be a barrier between us.”
Roxanne felt her chest rising and falling sharply from anger. Why did it feel like she and Sebastian were spealding two different languages? Was now the time to talk about sending Liana away? She had clearly said that she didn’t want to get engaged!
Sebastian adjusted his clothes and told the others, “Make sure she tries on everything today.”
Then, meeting Roxanne’s turlous glare, he returned to his usual noble, elegant demeanor. “I’m heading to the office.”

But all she got in return was Sebastian’s retreating back. He didn’t even spare her a glance.
She was furious! The dozen or so people left in the coom were all under Sebastian’s orders and forced her to try on dresses and jewelry. If she refused, they would bold her down and make her do it anyway. She was this close to cursing them out.
Roxanne fumed for a long time, but eventually, she gave in to reality. It was no use picking a fight with people just doing their jobs. She was the one who would suffer in the end.
So, she cooperated and tried on all the expensive jewelry and accessories. In the end, she deliberately picked a few of the ugliest ones.
Once they were done, the employees cleared everything and quickly left the villa.
Roxanne slung a bag over her shoulder, ready to head out too. But as soon as she reached the door, four professionally trained bodyguards stepped in front of her “Ms. Sawyer, please stay inside the villa. Until the engagement party, we kindly ask that you do not leave.”

Sebastian’s bodyguards clearly thought the same way he did. What did they mean by “don’t make things difficult for them ?
She was the one being locked up! She was the one being put through this!
Rosanne took a deep breath and turned to head back upstairs. Just as she got there, her phone rang with a call from Elvira

Then, her tone softened with concem. “Where are you now? I’ll bring my people and get you out.”
Roxanne refused. “No need. If Sebastian wants to lose his mind, let him. You stay out of it, it’s not worth the trouble. And just between us, I’ve already agreed to study abroad. I’ll be leaving a few days.”
Elvira’s wośce instantly idled with worry. “Rox, and you only doing this because Sebastian forced you into it?”
Roxanne and Elvira were very close she had told Elvira before that she didn’t want to study abroad. But now, she had agreed to go. If it wasn’t because of that bastard, Sebastian, what other reason could there be?
