Chapter 34

Violet’s POV

“Violet, are you asleep?” I looked up to see Emily looking at me.

“Yes, and it’s only four in the morning,” I groaned. I looked at Sof to see she was still asleep beside me.

“I was wondering if you wanted to come to the training field today. It starts at five and Ryan will be there. He is one of the trainers. I thought it would be a good idea for you to meet some of the Pack Members and see how we train since you will be their Luna when you accept Ryan fully,” Emily said. She was so sure I would end up with Ryan. To be honest, I liked the sound of Ryan and me ending up together, but I still needed time to make sure I could trust him.

“I guess I could come, but what about Sof?” I asked

“I already mind–linked my mom, and she said she would watch Sof while we go. She is on her way now,” Emily said. I was grateful for Traci and Lee because they helped me a lot with Sof and seemed to truly care about the both of us, but I sometimes felt I was asking them for too much.

“Your mom and dad have done so much for Sof and me. I don’t want them to feel like I am always asking them to watch her,” I replied. Emily was about to say something, but Traci walked in and beat her to it.

daughters to me. I could never get tired of either of you. Now go get ready so that you can see the training. Ryan is going to be so happy to see you there. I know he has been wanting you to go but didn’t want to pressure you. Plus, a lot of the Pack Members have been wanting to spend time with you,” Traci said

“They have?” I asked, shocked. I didn’t think the Pack wanted anything to do with me. They hardly talk to me when I see them in the house.

“Yes, they have been wanting to speak to you and get to know you since Ryan told them he found you, but Ryan told everyone to stay away from you,” Traci said

“Why would he do that?” I asked

He didn’t want you to feel pressured or uncomfortable with anyone,” Emily answered, I couldn’t believe Ryan had told everyone to leave me alone. I was going to speak to him about that because I didn’t want anyone scared to talk to me.

“Now go get ready,” Traci said

“Okay, thanks for watching Sof,” replied and headed to the restroom. I couldn’t help but wonder what I would see at the training and how everyone would act around me. I hoped they all liked me.

“This is the training field,” Emily said. I looked around to see many of the Pack Members talking to each other. It looked like they were placed in groups by their age. The children were in one group, teens in the other, and adults were in the last group.

It seemed like the Pack Members wanted to come up to me and speak, but they stayed where they were. That didn’t stop them from staring at me, as a lot of them wouldn’t take their eyes off me. Finally, a younger woman that looked to be around my age. walked over to me with a smile.

“Hello, Emily,” the female said to Emily.

Hey, Jess,” Emily said

“Hi, my name is Jessica, but you can call me Jess,” she said. I had seen her at the college before.

“Okay, everyone, get in your groups. It is time to start training,” I heard Ryan say. I was frozen in my place when I looked to see Ryan wearing only a pair of black shorts. His chest was bare, showing off his muscles. I could see other females looking at him and checking him out. I didn’t like seeing their eyes on him because he was mine and nobody else’s.

I tried to get rid of that feeling of wanting to kill every woman that looked at him. I had never been the one to act like that over anyone. I was sure it had something to do with this Matebond Ryan, and I shared. As if he could feel my presence, Ryan looked over at me. First in shock, and then a smile appeared on his face.

“Hey, beautiful. I am surprised to see you here,” Ryan said as he approached me.

“Emily woke me up and asked if I wanted to come to watch training. I hope that’s okay,” I said

“Of course, it’s okay. I am happy you are here. Come with me,” Ryan said as he took my hand and walked to an area where I believe the other trainers were. I could see his friend and Jane’s brother standing there. I felt slightly uncomfortable around him because I didn’t know if he was upset with me. After all, his sister had ended up getting Punished.

“Hello, Violet,” Carter said. I was shocked to see the smile on his face.

“All of you know Violet, My Mate. She is going to watch as we train today,” Ryan said. “Here, you can sit here. I will be back,” Ryan said, kissing the top of my head before he and the others went to train.
