The door slammed open with a loud bang
The syringe that was about to pierce Vespera’s thigh froze in mid–air-

The female supervisor, Wynne Cannon, who had entered with the security team immediately covered Vespera’s body with a piece of clothing She then untied her hands from the restraints and checked her condition. Afterward, she stepped out to report.

Vespera suddenly burst into tears. Her sobs came in waves, each tear falling into his hand like drops of rain.

Dominic wasn’t used to situations like this, and he wasn’t good at comforting people. But the more he told her not to cry, the harder she sobbed
The sound of her crying reached outside the room, and Raymond couldn’t help but feel a pang of sorrow.
Wyne hadn’t let yet. Dominic turned to her and said, “Not a word of this leaves this room. If word gets out, it will be assumed that your hotel is responsible!”

Dominic picked up Vespera in his arms and took her out of the hotel through a back exit.
