Chapter 9
Violet only came back home to graba change of clothing three days later.
As soon as she entered the villa, she called out Dylan’s name as abeays. However, even after calling him many times, he didn’t appear Only a few of her maids did
“Where’s Dylan?”TM
Violeted when she saw how clumsily her maids were in helping her put on her home slippert
The maid stammered for a bit before finally answering. “Mi Clood isn’t home, Ms. Violet”
Violet walked in with her slippers Dylan wasn’t home again? The last time this happened, it was because Violet had accompanied Archer to the hospital for his bares Dylan had also disappeared for days to go painting.
This time, she had also accompanied Archer to the hospital. But before leaving, Dylan had graciously told her he could go to the hospital by himself.
And yet, here he was, ddding up a huge ass once more and running away from home.
Molot felt frustrated to the point that she got angry.
She walked over to the couch and saw the document on the table. Normally, she wouldn’t have given it a second glance, but today, she decided to pick it up and read it
She saw the document’s title splashed across the first page at once.
“Pheorce Agreement“.
And, to her shock, she had actually signed on the signature line where her name was on the last page of the document
At once, Violet’s face red cold and deadly. The shine in her eyes also went out, malding her eyes look dark and dangerous.
She touched the paper where her initials were and realized that it wasn’t printed on or a forgery. She had indeed signed it there by herself. However, she couldn’t remember signing a divorce agreement
Suddenly, Violet narrowed her eyes. She recalled Dylan giving her some documents to sign the day when they had steak sandwiches for breakfast.
It was just that she’d been so by chatting with Archer then that she never realized i
Now that she thought of it, it had to have been this divere agreement.
She scrunched up the document in her hands. Then, she tore it into places and threw them into the air
Dylan? Divorcing her? What a fucking sick joke!
Dylan loved hou so much that he was willing to jump into the sea for her. He was so infatuated with her that he never got mad, not once, even though she’d abandoned him countless times Shred that Dylan just jealous because been taking care of Aucher too often lately.
It was just as well. It had been five years after all, so he derved to feel jealous. He would soon come crawling back to her anyway.
But if he didn’t-
No, he would
Violet was more sure than anything else in the world. After all, nobody else could ever love her like Dylan did.
Over the next few days, the other servants in the villa never bought Dylan’s name up again.
That day, Violet went to bring Aucher home from the hospital. Valerie stared at the bland chicken noodle soup before her and threw the spoon dom
“Who made this? Where’s Dylan? Get him to make it again for us!”
The maid next to his heated bedre answering, “Ms. Valerie, Mr. Cloud hasn’t been back for the past few days. So…”
Valerie widened her eyes. Dylan hadn’t been back for days?
She always thought that Dylan had only bean joking about the divorce. After all, the Padden family was the only wealthy family Dylan could ever hold on in, and anyone in their right mind would never have let go of the opportunity.
She recalled the divorce agreement on the table and looked up at Violet sirting opposite her
e’d heard from the maids that Violet had seen the divorce agreement when she came back, but the thought it was fake and tore it up before throwing it away.
Valerie chewed on her lower lip and lood at Archer sitting at to her. He was happily earing the soup as if he hadn’t heard a thing bem Valerie and the maid.
Violet had been pining after Archer for so long, and Archer also seemed like he was ready to accept her. Now that Dylan had left the marriage, by right, Violet should have been overjoyed Valeria then looked back at Viola Violet seemed to be frowning lightly, as if she was thisunited with how long Dylan hadn’t been back this time
A Valerie thought about it, she felt mother bout of anger rising within her. Dylan was already gona! So, how could he still burden Violet with thoughts about him like this? After dinner, the maids helped Archer upstairs forest
Valerie looked at Violet, who was still sitting unmoved from her spot, and hesitated for a while before asking “V, when are you going to marry Archer? I’ve been wanting him as my brother- in–law for years.”
