The next day, the evidence of what Natale had done and the recorted chat logs were sent over to Hugh’s place.
Hugh bought new versions of everything Kelly had owned and placed them back exactly where they’d been. Every time he came home, it almost felt like she was still there. But the truth was, she wasn’t With Kelly, the whole villa felt empty, like all the warmik had been sucked out of it.

But Hugh didn’t even look at her. “I already know you’re pregnant. So what? It’s just a baby. I can have as many as I want. Do you really think you’re good enough to carry my child? Besides, wouldn’t it be easier for you to get rid of this one and have that other guy’s kid instead?”
