A Mashup of Memories 4

Chapter

A faint scent of men’s cologne lingered on Damien, and it mingled with the rich aroma of alcohol. I smelled it as soon as I got close to him

I wrapped my arms around his trim waist, and my gaze traveled upward over his sexy Adam’s apple before meeting his eyes. I smiled and said sweetly, Hi, Damo.”

He looked down at me, his eyes widening slightly in surprise. A hint of doubt flickered in his gaze

Let go of him!Jordan’s eyes turned red with rage when he saw me holding onto Damien. He charged at me and pulled me away, bellowing, How cheap can you be, Seraphine? How dare you try to hook up with another man when you’re already taken!”

I was frightened by his harshness and unreasonable actions. I flung his hand aside and ducked behind Damien. He’s insane, Damo! He’s been following me for ages, and I’m scared.”

I clutched the hem of his suit jacket, looking terrified. My voice shook as I spoke

Jordan exploded when he heard me call him insane. He pointed at me as everyone watched and barked, Haven’t you had enough of this act? All I did was push you into the ocean! You’re fine, aren’t you? Do you have to go to the extent of pretending to have amnesia

Damien isn’t your boyfriendI am!”

Everyone in the bar was abuzz when they heard this. Now, the whole of Jeriton City knew I’d forgotten about Jordan. Not too long ago, he’d proposed to me, and it had been livestreamed. No one would’ve expected something like this to happen

I don’t believe you! Damien is my boyfriend!I tightened my grip on Damien’s suit jacket. My gaze was so resolute and confident that there wasn’t any trace of hesitation. Damien’s eyes gleamed when he heard my words. He turned to appraise me, his gaze unfathomable. I couldn’t tell how he felt

Jealousy overwhelmed Jordan when he saw us look into each other’s eyes. He stalked forward, wanting to drag me away, but I held Damien tightly and refused to let go

Save me, Damo! I don’t want to go anywhere with this psycho!”

Jordan was infuriated when he heard that. He slapped me hard

I was stunned by the smarting pain in my cheek

He snapped, You need to know where to draw the line, Seraphine! Stop being so pathetic!”

My expression turned frosty, and I slapped him back with all my might. What gives you the right to slap me, you impostor?”

I was furious, too. No one had ever laid a hand on me since childhood

Jordan wanted to hurt me again, but Damien grabbed my hand and pulled me into his arms. Then, he kicked Jordan to the floor and glared at him icily. How can you call yourself a man when you’re getting physical with a woman?”

After that, he pulled me out of the bar. Jordan wanted to run after us, but Jason stopped him and pulled him to the couch

Don’t stop me! I’m going to teach that Stone bastard a lesson!Jordan roared, the veins in his neck protruding from his rage. He’d never been this humiliated before, especially with so many people watching. He was supposed to be the prince of Jeriton City! That’s enough, Jordan!Jason said

Jordan scowled at him. You’re supposed to be my friend! Are you actually going to side with that bastard?”

Of course not! I just think you shouldn’t treat Seraphine like this. She’s your girlfriend, and she’s just been discharged from the hospital. You can’t aggravate her like that!Jason said. The bitch is this close to sleeping with the Stone bastard! How can you tell me to hold back?Jordan snarled

Jason’s expression turned icy when he heard that. He couldn’t take Jordan’s nonsense anymore. I can’t believe you have the nerve to say that about Seraphine. Don’t you think you’re worse?”
