“Who can contact Dustin right now?” Amara crossed her arms and asked impatiently.

She hated Dustin to the core and no longer wanted anything to do with him, but Dustin still had his uses.

In the past, Dustin always put the newspaper on the table for her every morning. On it was an article that specifically talked about the stock market. It would often comment on various companies‘ stocks, and the discussions ranged from positive to negative.

Based on her own judgment, Amara picked a few companies and bought their stocks. Up to this point, she had never made the wrong call.

This gave her some confidence.

Hence, she wanted to buy some stocks since her company had suffered some losses.

This time, she intended to go all in and buy loads of stocks that she thought were useful. Once their prices went up, she would sell them and earn a huge profit.

The first step would be to find that newspaper.

Unfortunately, she could not find it even after searching for hours.

“Amara, Dustin hates us. He won’t answer our calls. He already blocked us,” said the sisters helplessly.

Amara’s face stiffened.

Obviously, he had blocked her too.

“I’m going to the Langley family,” said Amara as she picked up her handbag.

Once Amara arrived at the Langley family villa, she rang the doorbell. She was told that Dustin was not at

home.

Since Amara was behind the whole “contract–terminating” fiasco, David and Monique were not pleased to see her and asked her to leave..

Amara sulked and sat in her car. She waited for Dustin to return.

Simone and Dustin only returned when the sun was about to set.

“Dustin!” Amara called out to him.

When he saw her, Dustin scowled.

“Why are you here? You’re not welcome here,” he said coldly.

“Doesn’t matter. I was once your sister. How can you be so heartless and cruel?” Amara demanded.

I’m heartless?” Dustin laughed mockingly.

Amara was the one who had kicked him out of the Wyatt family like he was a stray dog, and she claimed he was heartless.

Chapter 48

She was so shameless!

Anger surged in Dustin’s heart.

“What is it? You have something to ask of me, don’t you? Is that why you’re talking about family ties with me?” He sneered.

“I don’t have anything to ask of you!” Amara’s face turned dark, and she snorted. “No matter how far I’ve fallen, I will never ask an ungrateful b*stard like you for help. Not now! Not ever! You’re not worthy of it!”

Dustin just sneered as he thought, ‘Amara, you begged me to save your darling brother that day in the hotel, and you knelt before me.

“How dare you act all cocky and rude to me now?”

“If you have something to say, just say it,” Dustin said cily.

Amara was furious, but she tried her best to control it.

Dustin would never have dared to be so insolent in the past.

“What’s your relationship with the Zimmer family? What dirty trick did you pull to have them spare you?” Amara asked.

She was demanding an answer from him as though he owed it to her.

“Who the hell do you think you are? Why do I have to answer you?” Dustin looked displeased and turned to leave.

“Stop right there!” Amara snapped. “I’m here to ask you the name of the newspaper you always put on the

table for me.”

Dustin raised an eyebrow.

So, that was what she was after…

“Thinking about buying stocks again?” He smirked. “Aren’t you worried about losing more money?”

“I’ve never lost any money since I started buying stocks.” Amara sneered in confidence. “My judgment will never fall me!”

Dustin looked at her mockingly. He was not even hiding it any longer. ‘Amara, how very arrogant you’ve become,” he thought.

She did not know that the newspaper she was looking for did not exist.

Dustin had instructed those articles to be printed. Then, he had put it on her table every morning.

All the companies listed in the articles, regardless of whether they were good or bad, always ended up with a rise in their stock value.

So, no matter which company Amara chose, he made sure the stocks she bought never–fell in value.

Dustin had worked hard to create the image of Stock Market Queen of Rivenesco, but it had done nothing but boost her arrogance.

“Tell me where you bought the newspaper,” Amara asked haughtily.

“I don’t like your tone when you’re speaking to me. Is that how you ask for a favor?” Dustin turned to leave

again.

Amara’s face turned dark.

“Tell me. What do you want?” she shouted. “So long as it’s not some ridiculous request, I’ll grant it.”

But Dustin walked away.

Amara was stunned. Then, her face turned even colder.

“Dustin, you’re delusional. Do you really think you can stop me from ruling over the stock market just because you won’t tell me the name of the newspaper and where they sell it? You’re a joke!

“Even without the newspaper, I can still find stocks with good value! I’ll just pick some. Tomorrow, their prices will surely rise!” Amara said angrily.

Dustin had taken a few steps forward when he suddenly stopped.

“You want the newspaper? Sure.” He smiled at her strangely. “Go. The newspaper will arrive at tonight.”

Amara frowned.

Dustin’s sudden change in attitude made her worry that this was a scam.

“Why are you suddenly agreeing to help me?” she asked.

“Because you’re bound to lose a lot of money this time!” Dustin said confidently.

“What a joke! I’ve been buying stocks for years, and I’ve never lost any money!”

Dustin smiled at her faintly and dismissed her.

With Dustin’s promise to send the newspaper, Amara refused to linger around the Langley family villa for even a second longer. She got into the car and drove off.

Late into the evening, Amara received the newspaper that Dustin had sent.

She flipped through it happily.

The layout and the articles in the newspaper were familiar to her.

“Amara, which company’s stocks are you going to buy? How many lots will you buy?” Clara asked.

“The articles in this newspaper aren’t really that trustworthy. The companies that they criticize heavily are. usually the ones with huge potential,” Amara said with a smile. “I’ll pick the one that the articles are criticizing the most and buy at least twenty million dollars‘ worth of lots. Considering the potential for growth, I’ll soon make a huge profit!”

When Clara heard that, she felt a little hesitant.

“Why don’t you invest a little less into the company for now? You can buy a few million dollars‘ worth of Hots first to test the waters,” she suggested.
