Ryan’s POV
I was upset the entire night, knowing that Jane was going to get away with what she did to Violet. I knew I would have to keep an eye on her. My father might have kicked Jane and her family out of the Packhouse and told Jane to stay away from Violet, but I knew Jane. Jane wanted to hurt Violet, and she woudl do everything in her power to get what she wanted.
I would never let Jane hurt my Violet. I would kill her if she ever touched a hair on my Mates body. I knew Emily would help me protect my Mate. I was happy they were being homeschooled because of the Rogue that was still out there after Violet.
I still needed to figure out who the Rogue was that was after her. I was sure Jane was the one that sent them here to hurt my Mate. She was the only one that had a reason to want to hurt her in the Pack.
I felt terrible for asking Jane to be my Chosen Mate. If I would have been a little more patient, I would have met my Mate and wouldn’t be in this mess with the Council. They wouldn’t be watching the Pack to make sure I wasn’t mistreating any of the she–wolves I messed around with now that I found my Mate. I knew Jane and her family were the ones that called the Werewolf Council. Jane’s mom is upset that I found my Mate before marking Jane. If I would have Marked Jane before meeting Violet, I would have been stuck with her as my Mate unless the werewolf council agreed to let me Mark my real Mate and reject Jane and my chosen mate bond.

One of my friends got tired of waiting for their fated Mate and decided to choose one. When they found their True Mate, they asked the Werewolf Council to approve the rejection of their chosen one and let them claim their Fated Mate, but the Council denied them. They said his chosen Mate shouldn’t suffer because of his decision.
Now he has to live unhappy with a Mate he doesn’t want because once he meets his real Mate, all sexual attraction for his chosen, as well as any other female, disappears. I used to think if you took a chosen Mate, you would always want them sexually until seeing what happened with my friend. All I know is I lucked out meeting Violet when I did because I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I marked Jane and ended up stuck with her and unable to be with Violet because of my stupidity.
I decided to go to my room and get some rest. I had a lot I needed to do the next day. The most important thing was gaining Violet’s trust and winning her heart which I was determined to do. I went to sleep dreaming about my Mate and how beautiful she was.

Violet’s POV
“Wake up, Wake up.” I opened my eyes to see Sof jumping on the bed. I couldn’t help but smile, seeing how happy she was now that we were away from our father. I started worrying about what would happen if he found us. Would he try to take Sof away from me? He was her father, and if he decided to go to court, the judge might side with him and give her to him.
A knock on the door took me out of my thoughts. “Come in,” I said, and Traci walked in with a smile on her face.

“Hello, Violet. I wanted to see how you were feeling this morning after everything you learned and what Jane tried to do to you?” Traci said
“I am doing alright. I hope I never have to be around Jane, though,” I said
“You don’t have to worry about her Ry and Lee would never let her around you again,” Traci said
“Ryan said I would never have to see her again,” I said, and I could see a frown come on Traci’s face. “Is everything okay?” I asked
“Yes, Honey, but I am afraid Ry wasn’t able to kick her out of the Pack,” Traci said
So she still lives here?‘ asked worried
“She is still a part of the Pack but has been kicked out of the Packhouse. She has been warned to never come near you again, or she will be banished from the Pack or worse. She will also be punished for what she did to you but trust me when I tell you we will never let her hurt you. Ry would never let anyone hurt you,” Traci said.
“I believe you,” I said, but I was still worried about Jane. I was sure she wanted to finish what she had started. She tried to get rid of me and wanted Ryan for herself.
“There is something I wanted to talk to you about,” Traci said
“What is that?” I asked
“I was wondering how you feel about what Ry told you about

“I don’t know. Ever since I met Ryan, I felt something for him. It was like I knew he was special. But I can’t get over the fact that he rejected me because he thought Sof was my daughter. She might be my sister, but I am the one who raised her. I told you how my father treated us and why I left. Sof will always come first,” I said
“I respect you for putting Sofia first. You are a great person and a wonderful sister. I want you to know that Ry feels terrible for what he did to you, and I am happy you are giving him a chance to prove himself to you. I can assure you that you are not making a mistake. Ryan would never hurt you or Sof,” Traci said
“I need him to prove that to me. I need him to prove he can accept that Sof will always be in my life,” I said
“He will.” Someone knocked on my door, and Traci opened it. My heart started beating fast when I saw a shirtless Ryan standing at the door.
“Hey, Violet. I was wondering if you and Sof would like to go to the amusement park today?”
