Nelly shook her head with determination
“As long as you treat me well, I won’t regret it. But…” She paused hesitantly.
Matthew noticed Nelly’s hesitation and felt a pang in his chest. He asked urgently, “But what?”
“But I can’t get married yet…” Her voice grew softer.
Matthew smiled indulgently and said gently, “That’s fine. Just come home with me. It’ll be our home from now on.”
Upon hearing his words, Nelly felt a surge of gratitude toward him,
“Home” was a word she hadn’t heard in a long time. She longed for a peaceful life.
“Alright,” she replied with a slight nod.
Nelly was exhausted on the way and fell asleep against the seat.
Matthew looked at her with tender affection and took out his phone.
“Hey, issue a marriage certificate for me,” he commanded.
“Understood,” someone from the end of the line replied respectfully.
“Once it’s ready, deliver it to Baycrest Villa.”
With that, he ended the phone call
He leaned down and kissed Nelly gently on the forehead before continuing to drive toward Bayerest Villa.
Upon arrival, he carefully carried Nelly into the house..
“Welcome home, Mr. Yorke,” Abel greeted respectfully.
“Keep it down,” Matthew reminded softly.
Noticing the sleeping Nelly in Matthew’s embrace, Abel immediately understood Matthew’s intention.
Matthew carried Nelly into his room and gently laid her on his bed. In a deep and magnetic voice, he said, “I promise you’ll be the happiest woman in the world starting tomorrow.”
After that, he left the room and headed to the living room.
As soon as he reached the living room, he saw Kai standing there respectfully.
“Mr. Yorke,” Kai greeted him with respect
Matthew reclined lazily on the couch. Even in a moment of leisure, his commanding air was undiminished

“How’s everything?” Matthew asked lazily.
“They’ve all been prepared,” Kal replied as he handed over a
document.
When Matthew flipped the document and saw the marriage certificate inside, he smiled faintly.
Although the smile was subtle, it didn’t escape Kal’s sharp eyes. Despite his shock, Kai maintained his composure in front of Matthew.
Nelly and Matthew’s photos were also placed side by side inside the folder. Their compatibility was evident.
Even with Matthew’s face partially hidden by a mask, it exuded a reassuring air.
“Well done. This month, everyone in the company will get double their salary,” Matthew said, satisfied.
“Thank you, Mr. Yorke,” Kai replied excitedly. After all, their salaries were already tar higher than other companies.
“I’m not going to the office today. Handle things for me,” Matthew said before heading upstairs.
Watching his retreating figure, Kai felt utterly helpless.
“Mr. Yorke, a mountain of work is waiting for you in the office,” he complained in exasperation.
Witnessing Kai’s dilemma, the approaching Abel chuckled.
“It’s rare for Mr. Yorke to find someone he likes. Isn’t this good for all of you?” Abel’s tone carried a hint of teasing.
“But while Mr. Yorke is relaxing now, I must work overtime. He used to handle most things himself,” Kai grumbled lightly.
“Be grateful, young man,” Abel said meaningfully.
“Ugh, I d
n’t have time for this. I need to get back to the office,” Kai muttered
“Go on, then,” Abel replied with a smile.
After Kai left, Abel glanced toward the third floor. As if he was having some thoughts, he started smiling meaningfully.
Matthew had already changed into his loungewear on the third floor. As usual, he was sticking to his signature black outfit.
Nelly had woken up, She lay there, staring blankly at the ceiling of the room. A grand crystal chandelier hung overhead while she gazed motionlessly at it
on the bed.
Suddenly, a low and husky voice broke her reverie
“You’re awake,” Matthew said.
Upon hearing the voice, Nelly immediately sat up and looked at him.
Matthew exuded elegance in his black loungewear. His mask added a touch of mystery as usual
Nelly watched him intently as he walked toward her.
He sat on the bed and looked at her with a smile. “So, you’re not running away in fear this time?” he teased.
Nelly’s checks flushed at his words
Looking at her, Matthew couldn’t help but chuckle.
“What’s so funny?” Nelly pouted
Seeing her feisty expression, Matthew suddenly felt his mood lift.
With a pout, Nelly turned her head away.
At some point, an envelope appeared in front of her. She turned back and stared blankly at Matthew. “What’s this?” she asked.
