Clover dragged Nelly straight to Romen’s classroom, only to discover that he had already left.
“Romeo, you jerk! Get out here!” Clover’s voice echoed through the bathway, drawing curious stares from students nearby.
“Giselle, Giselle! Go check it out. Clover and Nelly are looking for Romen,” Sandra said urgently.
Yeah, you should definitely go see what’s happening,” Casey chimed in.
Giselle didn’t even bother to gather her belongings and ran straight to Romen’s classroom.
Meanwhile, Romen frowned as he heard Clover’s shouting. He closed his book and walked toward the classroom.
“What are you two doing here?” he asked with a sharp tone.
“Romeo Jenner, you jerk! How dare you bully my Nell!” Clover shouted, her voice filled with anger,
“Clover,” Nelly called softly.
“Don’t worry,” Clover reassured her before turning back to Romeo again.
“Clover Reagan, are you here to cause trouble?” Romeo asked, his tone laced with hostility.
“Oh, so now you think you’re the victim?” Clover shot back, refusing to back down.
“The person I love is Gigi, not Nel-“Before Romeo could finish, he was cut off by a loud slap. The sound echoed through the hallway.
Everyone looked shocked. No one expected them to be physical
Romeo stood there, stunned, as the realization sank in. He, the heir to Jenner Group, had been slapped in public.
Right then, Giselle arrived on the scene. She immediately went up to Clover and slapped her back.
“Clover!” Nelly exclaimed in surprise
Students were surrounding them, witnessing the drama unfold.
“Giselle Loftin!” Clover shouted angrily.
“You slapped Romeo first,” Giselle retorted.
Clover didn’t hesitate. She grabbed Giselle’s hair, and the two girls began fighting
“Giselle, you bitch” Clover yelled. “You knew Noll was with Romeo, but you still went after him! Do you have no shame?”
Nelly watched as the situation escalated, clenching her fists tightly. “Enough!”
Stunned, Clover and Giselle finally stopped fighting
“Romeo” Giselle’s voice trembled, as if she were on the verge of tears.
“Don’t be afraid, Giselle,” Romeo said gently, comforting her.
“Romeo, I can’t believe I played Cupid for you and Nell!” Clover spat. “I must’ve been blind.”
Romeo ignored her comment and turned to Nelly. “I’ve told you before. The person I love is your sister. Stop making things difficult for Gigi,” he said coldly.
ery word cut deeply into her ho
heart.
The burt Nelly felt was reflected in her eyes. His every
“Nell, I’m sorry. Please don’t be mad at me,” Giselle said, appearing remorseful. But inside, she was anything but.
“Do you really enjoy pretending like this?” Clover snapped, her disdain evident
“Clover, that’s enough,” Nelly said.
Giselle looked at Nelly, a hint of mischief flickering in her eyes. She suddenly released Romeo’s hand and went up to Nelly, grabbing her hands.
“Nell, please don’t hate me. I really love Horneo. But if you love him more, I’ll give him back to you,” she said sweetly.
“Gigi, stop. The one I love is you,” Romeo declared, iminediately making his stance clear.
Nelly and Clover watched as Giselle continued with her inanipulative performance. She was so convincing that they thought she could pursue an acting Coreer. She successfully made their peers think that Nelly was the one pestering Romeo.
“Nelly, il Ruineo doesn’t like you, then stop chasing after him,” Sandra said mockingly
“Yeah, unless you want to be a homewrecker,” Casey added
Everyone there was on Giselle’s side. The situation made Giselle look gentle and generous, while Nelly was pointed as someone who wouldn’t stop clinging to someone else’s boyfriend.
Hearing those comments, Clover placed her hands on her hips and glared at the crowd. “Say that again, and i will tear your mouths apart!” Clover shouted

Meanwhile, Giselle felt pleased by the reactions.
“Let go,” Nelly said coldly to Giselle.
“Gigi, come here,” Romeo said.
“No, not until Nelly forgives me,” Giselle said stubbornly as Nelly tried to shake her off. She looked at Nelly and gave a subtle but sly smile.
“Ah!” She suddenly let out a dramatic cry and collapsed onto the floor.
Romeo rushed to her side, shoving Nelly aside in the process and causing her to stumble
“Nell, are you okay?” Clover asked.
“I’m fine,” she replied calmly
Romeo helped Giselle to her feet and glared at Nelly. “She’s your sister! How could you be so heartless?” he said coldly.
“Romeo, it’s okay,” Giselle said, playing the victim perfectly
Looking at the scene before her, Clover felt the urge to slap them both.
Nelly scoffed. “Say whatever you want. I’m used to it.” She looked at Romeo, her eyes filled with a mix of emotions. Then, she turned to Clover. “Let’s go.
Clover nodded. But just as they were about to leave, she stopped and went up to Romeo and Giselle. “I wish you two a speedy breakup!” she said with at bright smile before rejoining Nelly, ignoring glares from them both.
Romeo looked at the students around him, and his frustration boiled over. “What are you looking at!” he snapped.
Startled, the crowd quickly dispersed.
“I’m sorry, Romeo,” Giselle said softly.
“Silly,” Romeo replied. “What’s there to be sorry for?”
As Nelly and Clover walked away, Clover tried to comfort Nelly. “Nell, don’t be up
upset. Romeo’s
‘s not worth it. You’ll i find someone better.”
Nelly sighed. “I just don’t get it. No matter how much I back down, Giselle always finds a way to come after me. I honestly don’t know what I did wrong.”
Clover felt sorry for her and pulled her into a hug. She was three years older than Nelly, and she felt sorry for Nelly for suffering so much at such a young. age. Nelly truly had experienced things other people her age have not.
Suddenly, Clover’s phone rang. “Excuse me for a second,” she said, stepping aside to answer
“Okay.” Nelly nodded.
“Hello? Mom,” Clover said into the phone.
Nelly couldn’t hear their conversation, but she noticed Clover’s expression quickly became anxious.
“Okay, I understand,” Clover said finally before ending the call
Nelly looked at Clover, assuming something serious had happened.
“Nell, I need to go home now, so I can’t send you home today,” Clover said apologetically.
“I’m not a child. Besides, what do you mean you can’t send me home today? You us
